MY SPORTS LIFE || SPENDING SOME TIME IN THE SPORT CENTER

Recently, I have been spending a lot of time in the sport center in my school and been seeing the way most of my school mates engage in different sporting activity. Having to see this is quite building up my interest in partaking in one activity or two.

Right from when I was younger, I have not been really good in any outdoor sports including running but had quite some love for the indoor game chess. The chess game was the only game I played well while I was in secondary school and at some point, I was addicted chess playing but it wasn't for long before my life got busy and I stopped playing chess.

The picture above was taken in school yesterday. I was with @code-redex at the school sports center while he was playing a chess game against a friend of ours. For me, it has been a while I played chess and I don't think I would be good at making calculated moves. I am sure that if I tried playing with these guys, I would get my ass beaten as they are regulars on the game and goes out for competitions.

I tried playing table tennis today and somehow, my hands felt not right. I am not used to it but I like the sport. I can easily imagine myself playing it but when I hold the racket to hit the ball, I end up playing rubbish.

It feels weird not to be really good at any outdoor sport. I don't know, but I think what I really need now is to find a sport to learn even though I am not good at it, and from then I can become a professional. Nobody is born good at something, they grow from constant practicing.

Nobody is born good at something, they grow from constant practicing.

I like an enthusiastic you're about this and I also like to live life assurance you attached to it.

All the sports you participated in are good for the mind and they are also indoor sports that can offer you full package of excitement and physical fitness. Adding an outdoor sport may not be very important but your desire to learn one is laudable ✌️.

Don't worry, I know that very soon you will become an expert in table tennis and chess, I'm not really a sports lover, in physical education at school I was always very bad at it. Cheer up, I'm sure you will succeed.

How nice your campus has sports accommodations, which shouldn't surprise me because the students are living on campus right? Here, most students go to class and go home after classes. Students here mostly still live with their parents/family and if not they rent apartments. Only a few years ago a student housing facility got built, but it's more for students from far districts and it's already full. And with online classes and the lockdowns at the moment, campus is closed, so students are at home.

We also used to have a chess club. Don't know the status of it at the moment though, because most chess players I know of have already graduated.

If we had the facility I would try my hand in volleyball and indoor football. Not that I'm any good at it, but like you said we could all learn it. My dad used to have table for table tennis, I was really bad at it hahaha

It was a very fun day brother .
you really shouldn't be concerned about how good you are at the games , the whole point of it is to have fun . The sport center is opened for anyone , either expert or amateur . The more we practice ,the better we become .
Let's play a game of chess next time we catch up , Im very sure you're pretty good but just looking down on your skills .

The thing about games and sports is you get rusty after been away from it for awhile.

Engaging in it daily or weekly by practicing will help you get a hand of it.
