How to fix the pinion gear or starter gear, you can try it on any type of matic motor

If you are lazy to go to the repair shop, you can fix it yourself at your home.

Don't forget to prepare a complete key for the CVT part bolt opener.

After the CVT cover and automatic transmission gear cover are open, slowly remove the pinion gear that is on the left or above the roller housing.

Previously opened the pins or buttons locking the rubber teeth
the starter.

First, slowly pry the rubber seal with a min screwdriver, until it comes off the pinion holder or axle, then remove the pinion gear.

Don't forget to pay attention to the spring on the pinion gear.

If the spring does break, don't panic first, because I have an easy and cheap solution, because this method is really needed at times like this. Is not it !!!

Just buy a carburetor vacuum that belongs to an old Yamaha Mio or you can just use another one, the important thing is that the size is the same and the pressure is the same.

The material is just right to replace the broken pinion gear.

How to open it, remove the locking ring that is shaped like an earring on the pinion gear shaft, after that, the spring holder.

Then remove this beat motor default, then replace it with a Yamaha Mio vacuum carburetor that was cut earlier.

It's okay, reassemble it as before

After that, try turning on the electric starter. Make sure the starter stuck again without any problems again.
