La sorpresa es de las cosas en las que el ser humano no tiene control sobre cuando ocurrirán, solo pasan y mayormente nos toman desprevenidos, por eso la sorpresa no se maneja bajo control, todo lo opuesto, y eso es emocionante para muchos, dependiendo de la sorpresa que sea y lo que traiga con ella.

Surprise is one of those things in which the human being has no control over when they will happen, they just happen and mostly take us by surprise, that is why surprise is not managed under control, quite the opposite, and that is exciting for many, depending on whatever surprise it is and whatever it brings with it.

Todos hemos tenido pequeñas y grandes sorpresas en nuestras vidas, pero existen ciertas sorpresas que las recordamos con mucho cariño y que guardan un lugar especial en nosotros y de ese tipo de sorpresas quiero hablarles y compartirles un poco hoy.

We have all had little and big surprises in our lives, but there are certain surprises that we remember with great affection and that hold a special place in us and I want to talk to you about these kinds of surprises and share a little with you today.

Desde el 2007 que terminé el bachillerato sabía que iba directo a la Universidad, no había otra opción para mi, ya lo tenía bastante claro desde muy pequeño, pero lo que no sabía era que no iba a ser fácil y mucho menos iba a ser rápido, al menos en mi caso; desde ese año se volvió una misión para mi poder entrar en una buena Universidad a estudiar lo que ya sabía que iba a terminar estudiando.

Since 2007, when I finished high school, I knew that I was going straight to the University, there was no other option for me, I had it quite clear since I was very young, but what I did not know was that it was not going to be easy and much less it was going to be fast. , At least in my case; From that year on, it became a mission for me to be able to enter a good University to study what I already knew I would end up studying.

Mis ganas de irme a estudiar a una de las Universidad públicas más grandes de mi país eran enormes, pero esa no iba a ser mi casa de estudio, por más veces que intentara ingresar en ella y lo hice todo, no lograba entrar entre los seleccionados para cursar una carrera ahí.

My desire to go study at one of the largest public universities in my country was enormous, but that was not going to be my home of study, no matter how many times I tried to enter it and did everything, I could not enter among those selected. to pursue a career there.

Así fueron pasando los años y cada año iba a participar en las pruebas para ingresar en diferentes facultades y en diferentes carreras pero nada parecía funcionar. Se me fueron unos 5 (casi 6) años intentando por todos los medios posibles y existentes pero al final nada sirvió. Me había dado por vencido y dejé todo como estaba.

So the years went by and every year I was going to participate in the tests to enter different faculties and different careers but nothing seemed to work. I spent about 5 (almost 6) years trying by all possible and existing means but in the end nothing worked. I had given up and left everything as it was.

Para el año 2014, mis compañeros de trabajo y mi familia me convencieron para intentar ingresar en una Universidad en el estado donde vivía y luego de pensarlo , realicé la prueba y no quedé seleccionado. Eso me dejó aún más desmotivado de continuar pero en el 2015 lo intenté de nuevo y ese fue mi último intento, ya no iba a continuar más.

In 2014, my co-workers and my family convinced me to try to enter a university in the state where I lived and after thinking about it, I took the test and I was not selected. That left me even more discouraged to continue but in 2015 I tried again and that was my last attempt, I was not going to continue anymore.

Mi sorpresa más grande me la llevé al enterarme una mañana del mes de Julio de 2015 que había sido aceptado para comenzar mis estudios universitarios en esa Universidad que yo no había contemplado como una posible opción; como dicen por ahí: "la vida te da sorpresas, sorpresas te da la vida".

My biggest surprise was when I found out one morning in July 2015 that I had been accepted to start my university studies at that University that I had not considered as a possible option; as they say out there: "life gives you surprises, life gives you surprises".

Recuerdo tan vivamente ese día como si hubiese ocurrido hoy mismo. La emoción que se apoderó de mi cuerpo fue la sorpresa de encontrar mi nombre en ese listado tan limitado, todo lo que había esperado para recibir esa buena noticia, por tantos años, por fin la pude dejar salir en ese momento y se sintió increíblemente bien.

I remember that day as vividly as if it had happened today. The emotion that took over my body was the surprise of finding my name in such a limited list, everything I had waited to receive that good news, for so many years, I was finally able to let it out at that moment and it felt incredibly good. .

Creo que la emoción primaria en ese momento en particular sin duda fue la sorpresa. I think the primary emotion at that particular moment was definitely surprise. I wanted that moment to happen for so long that I had ignored the surprise as an emotion and only thought about how happy and how exciting it was going to be to receive that news; my surprise was double that day, for the news that they accepted me and for the surprise that I got during the surprise of that news that was so important for me at that moment.

Aprendí a esperar a que todo llegara y a apreciar aún más la sorpresa de lo que ocurrirá en mi vida. Pero cambiaría mi impaciencia, esa misma que me llevó a desesperarme por no recibir las cosas al momento que yo lo quería, de haber sido así, la sorpresa nunca habría llegado de la forma en la que llegó.

I learned to wait for everything to come and to appreciate even more the surprise of what will happen in my life. But I would change my impatience, the same one that made me desperate for not receiving things when I wanted them, if that had been the case, the surprise would never have come the way it did.

Desde entonces, intento no olvidar lo que sentí ese día, emocionalmente hablando, porque fue el inicio de un camino bastante interesante e importante en mi vida. Es, hasta ahora, una de las sorpresa más increíbles que he recibido y agradezco enormemente que me hayan sorprendido de esa manera, creo que todo deberíamos ser sorprendidos de esa manera aunque sea una vez en la vida, es una emoción única.

Since then, I try not to forget what I felt that day, emotionally speaking, because it was the beginning of a very interesting and important path in my life. It is, so far, one of the most incredible surprises I have received and I am extremely grateful that they have surprised me in this way, I think that everyone should be surprised in this way even once in a lifetime, it is a unique emotion.
