INITIATIVE #MakeupChallenge- WEEK 10 | LANDSCAPE- Night Beach

Hello, how are you? Today I join once again my favorite initiative of Hive which is #MakeupChallenge by @lucianav and @ambarvegas, this time with the theme of "Landscapes". This theme made me very excited because it reminds me a lot of painting. When you start in art classes, the first paintings that the teachers send you to do are always landscapes, either at night or during the day. So the truth gave me a lot of nostalgia and I decided to make one of my favorite types of landscapes to paint in oil: night beach.

Hola, ¿que tal? El día de hoy me sumo una vez más a mi iniciativa favorita de Hive que es #MakeupChallenge por @lucianav y @ambarvegas, esta vez con la temática de "Paisajes". Esta temática me hizo demasiada ilusión porque me recuerda mucha a la pintura. Cuando inicias en clases de pintura artistica, los primeros cuadros que los profesores te mandan a hacer son siempre paisajes ya sea de noche o de día. Así que la verdad me dió bastante nostalgía y decidí hacer uno de mis tipos de paisajes favoritos para pintar en óleo: playa nocturna.

PROCESS/PROCESO

1.- I washed my face very well as always and applied moisturizer, after absorbed, I applied a super light base, just to give me a stickier canvas to work with and not something too dry.

1.- Lavé mi carita muy bien como siempre y apliqué crema hidratante, después de absorbida, aplique una base super ligera, solamente para que me diera un lienzo más pegajosito donde trabajar y no algo muy seco.

2.- With a concealer in just a darker shade than my skin I traced some curves in the middle of my face, and on the left side of it I started to paint with black, blue, purple, and orange eye shadows creating a blur. This took me a long time and patience so that there were not many patches left.

2.- Con un corrector en tan solo un tono más oscuro que mi piel tracé unas curvas en la mitad de mi cara, y del lado izquierdo de la misma empecé a pintar con sombras de ojos negras, azules, moradas, y naranja creando un difuminado. Esto me tomó mucho tiempo y paciencia para que no quedaran muchos parches.

3.- With the little space I left below, I used blue and white eye shadows to create a reflective ocean.

3.- Con el pequeño espacio que dejé abajo, utilicé sombras de ojos azules y blancas para crear un océano con reflejos.

4.- This step is my favorite, here with black liquid eyeliner I traced the shadow against the light of a palm tree. Also with white concealer I made the moon and stars, adding more shine with illuminator.

4.- Este paso es mi favorito, acá con delineador liquido negro tracé la sombra contra luz de una palmera. También con corrector blanco hice la luna y las estrellas, agregando más brillo con iluminador.

5.- In this step I applied eye shadows on my right eyelid, mascara and also a little blush and highlighter.

5.- En este paso apliqué sombras de ojos en mi parpado derecho, rimel y también un poco de rubor e iluminador.

6.- So that everything didn't look too heavy, I applied a fairly light lip gloss..

6.- Para que todo no se viera muy cargado, apliqué un brillo de labios bastante ligero.
