Tarde pero seguro! No podía quedarme fuera del Makeup Challenge. Después de tanto buscar que princesa sería decidí irme por algo más atrevido, mucho más diferente. Una princesa Cobra, inspirándome un poco en varios maquillajes que ya habia visto me realicé este look como entrada a nuestro divertido Challenge!

Late but sure! I couldn't stay out of the Makeup Challenge. After so much searching for which princess I would be, I decided to go for something more daring, much different. A Cobra princess, inspired by several make-ups I had already seen, I did this look as an entrance to our fun Challenge!

Últimamente apuesto por este tipo de maquillajes más artísticos, aunque de vez en cuando me voy por uno "más normal" donde hago una piel limpia y ojos cargados con tecnicas como Smoky Eye o Cut Crease. Esto más elaborados y artísticos suelen tomar más tiempo, afinando detalles e incluso llevan mucho más tiempo en edición, esto lo hace mucho más interesante!

Lately I bet on this kind of more artistic make-up, although from time to time I go for a "more normal" one where I make a clean skin and eyes loaded with techniques like Smoky Eye or Cut Crease. These more elaborate and artistic ones tend to take longer, fine-tuning details and even take much longer to edit, this makes it much more interesting!

Lo primero que hice, después de preparar mi parpado fue aplicar una sombra amarilla, sin difuminar, solo a toques. Haciendo especie de cuenca muy marcada. También un tanto grande para redactar. A este tono amarillo le apliqué por encima, con una brocha para difuminar, un tono naranja. Con el objetivo de agregar dimensión.

The first thing I did, after preparing my eyelid was to apply a yellow shadow, without blurring, just touching. Making kind of a very marked basin. Also a little big for writing. To this yellow shade I applied, with a brush to blur, an orange shade. In order to add dimension.

Después marcar todo el ojo de la cobra con ayuda de una brocha plana y un corrector claro, trace una linea gruesa y vertical por todo el medio del párpado. A esta le apliqué un tono amarillo neón para resaltar.

Then I marked the whole eye of the cobra with the help of a flat brush and a clear concealer, drawing a thick vertical line all over the middle of the eyelid. I applied a neon yellow shade to this one to make it stand out.

Luego para preparar la piel aplique una base muy clara para que las sombras pigmentaran mucho mejor. Seguido de esto coloqué una sombra verde neón por todo el borde del amarillo, tapando mi ceja y sin difuminar.

Con un delineador liquido negro hice la forma del ojo más evidente, trazando en forma de gota horizontal y haciéndolo doble.

Then to prepare the skin apply a very light base so that the shadows will pigment much better. I then applied a neon green shadow along the edge of the yellow, covering my eyebrow without blurring.

With a black liquid eyeliner I made the shape of the eye more evident, tracing it in the form of a horizontal drop and making it double.

Después tome mi sombra verde y comencé a rellenar mi frente y parte de las mejillas, de manera irregular, como si fuesen gotas cayendo hacia abajo. También con una sombra terracota marque los espacios donde no coloque el verde para agregar dimensión.

Then I took my green shadow and started to fill my forehead and part of my cheeks, in an irregular way, as if they were drops falling down. Also with a terracotta shadow I marked the spaces where I did not place the green to add dimension.

Con el mismo delineador liquido negro marque todo el borde de la sombra verde y comencé a recrear la textura de la serpiente, igualmente de manera irregular. Y para agregar aun más dimensión tome unas sombras azul y amarillo y coloque varios puntos por toda el área verde.

With the same liquid black eyeliner I marked the entire edge of the green shadow and began to recreate the texture of the snake, also in an irregular way. And to add even more dimension I took some blue and yellow shadows and placed several dots all over the green area.

Ahora para los labios utilicé un lápiz negro y una sombra muy negra para intensificar. Y con los ojos cerrados el look final estuvo listo.

Now for the lips I used a black pencil and a very black shadow to intensify. And with my eyes closed the final look was ready.
