Rural Urbex: Kartman’s Cottage. Powys Wales
A nice little drive by when I was out and about mooching in Mid Wales. The first problem of where to park was solved with a convenient lay-by 200yds from the gate. Promising.
Navigating the muddy track, the brambles and the nettles got me to where I wanted to be
I have never tried banana booze, and the reading material didn’t appeal so onwards and upwards
Room with a view complete with portable heating device
Let’s go and look upstairs, unusual for me to find a place with plenty of natural light coming in through the windows
That was it for the house, have a quick mooch in the out buildings on the way back to the car
And that was that an enjoyable half an hour spent enjoying the ambience of another lovely Welsh Cottage.

They left all the soft toys, but the big question is, 'did the piano play'?
I second that, piano always a nice touch. Almost looks like the one they used in saloons in those western movies. The old hag would sleep face buried in those keys and if you gave her a tip, she would spring to life like a jack-in-a-box and play a merry tune.
Being gone deaf I wouldn’t know what to expect if I hit a few keys
