Rural Urbex: the house of cornish thatch.
Had a family visit down to the pointy bit of England earlier in the year.
Great!
I had to escape.
I did.
A nice of day doing what a mans got to do.
Urbex and the rattler cyder farm.
This is not the cyder farm
This is is one of my visits in the pointy bit
I’m given to understand that corrugated steel sheet is known as “Cornish thatch”. Who am I to argue even though this place was in Devon. Unprotected on the side of the road
Pretty much rotten away inside, the floors decayed and spongy in places; an assortment of chairs set out for potential guests
Claudine and Michael prepare for Christmas and some bound encyclopaedia volumes, a family lived here once maybe.
The kitchen quite packed out with treasure compared to the rest of the building
A cluttered shed and a lady who is now probably a pensioner.
Still a nice chance find. Still a worthwhile half an hour.
