Planned to take a walk before having dinner at Satay by the Bay on #BeautifulSunday. It wasn't sunny but didn't seem like would heaving rain. I took a picture facing the Singapore Flyer before walking to Marina Barrage.
美丽星期天计划去滨海湾沙爹吃晚餐前走走。没有阳光普照但并不像会起大雨。走到堤坝前面向新加坡摩天观景轮拍张照片。

The place was quite crowded. I managed to wait till when there was less people before I took this photo. It wasnt easy trying to stay clear of the many bicycles going in both directions. You could see kites flying in the sky and quite a number of them. I don't remember seeing so many ever.
这个地方是相当拥挤。我好不容易等到较少人时才拍下了这张照片。为了闪避来回的自行车可真不简单。你可以看到许多风筝在天空中飞翔。以前可真没看到这么多过。
Along the way, I turned back and took a picture of Marina Bay Sands.
一路上，我转身拍张滨海湾金沙的照片。
They had closed off entrance to the green roof here and elsewhere too. Must be a lot of people up there.
他们在这里和其他地方太封闭到绿化屋顶的入口的。一定有很多人去了在那里。
There really were many kites up in the sky.
真的有很多风筝在天空。
There were many ships in the sea outside.
有许多船在海外。

Yes, there were lots of people and flying kites there too.

I walked to where the barrage is and this is where we dammed up the fresh water creating a reservoir in the Marina Bay.

To the left of the barrage is this building on top of which is a green roof where I presumed many people were flying kites.
堤坝左边这幢的顶部是一个绿化屋顶。我敢肯定有很多人在那里放风筝。
I took a wide angle photo so to be able to see the many kites in the sky.
拍张广角照片，以便能够看到天空中的许多风筝。
On the other side of facing the sea is a viewing pod where I took the earlier photos with the people flying kites at the side.
在面向大海的另一边是个海上观景点。我就是在那里拍之前的照片拍到人在一旁放风筝。

Then I headed to the food centre and passed this sculpture along the way which I had shared in a previous post.

I like your reflected selfie in the sculpture :)
Yes, I know I could not avoid that easily with the objective of capturing the Singapore Flyer inside.
Actually with less people around and a selfie stick, I may be able to pull it off.
I couldn't get on the Ferris wheel. We'll put it off until next time...

Well, so be it. I also want to try Singapore's signature chili crab. I didn't have time to taste it when I was in Singapore, I just didn't know about it at the time. I really wanted to eat sushi at the Marina Bay cafe, I did it. Like it
I never tried that sushi there but it's closed now.
Many of the restaurants had changed too
