📷#MarketFriday To food court to get mandu ramyun | 到食阁吃饺子拉面😎(by @ace108)

On Tuesday, I went to the Food Court at HDB Hub after avoiding for a while because of the covid-19 cluster at the bus interchange for #MarketFriday by @dswigle.
星期二,在避免一段时间后,我去了建屋局中心的食阁。之前因为公车转换站的新冠感染群避开那里一阵子。

🎶Meanwhile, some music for you to enjoy as you read. This piece is part of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, particularly the first of the 4 violin concertos, called Spring.

The place is supposed to allow up for 5 in the group but I saw it was mostly less than that.
这个地方应该允许至5人一组进去用餐但我看到它大多数都是一两个人。

My wife had a seafood toufu soup which is spicy and she said it was OK. Maybe I should try that one day.
太太吃的是一碗海鲜豆腐汤。是有点辛辣的。她说还好。也许我应该找一天试试。

Not all the eateries do this. This food court is quite clear. For restaurants, they usually remove or push off the seats. Coffeeshops are quite chaotic when they have movable chairs.

I love kimchi! I had a Korean neighbor who used to make it and bury it in the ground to cure it. I remember thinking how strange that was, but, learned that was the best way to do it.

Your lunch looked pretty good! Is it any better to go to the food court? It actually didn't look too crowded this time. Maybe it is easing up? Not true! It would be really crowded then, right! I love the concept of #MarketFriday and how our cultures differ and then again, how much they are alike. Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages. Along with the fact of what is normal for where you live? these are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I had hoped that posting here will familiarize you with the world around you just a little bit more. Viewing it from a more personal level as opposed to the newsworthy level gives me a better understanding of the people and a view that is often not seen on National television.

I appreciate the amazing support given to #MarketFriday! Thank you! Your participation adds a piece of your world, and I have to say, people are interested in seeing it. This entire challenge has opened up the world to me and so many others. Thank you again for being a part of all this! I am so happy to see you here! I hope you have a fabulous day! Hive on!!

Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:

I put these here for guidance, it doesn't mean you have done anything wrong in your post, but, for someone wanting to know what it is all about, here it is! If you have any questions, contact me in discord dswigle3637 or tag me. If you need help with anything, also feel free to contact me.

Rules of the Road

  1. Go to the market, or anywhere that you pay money for a service.
    Take pictures! Be creative!
  2. Tell us a little bit about the market or the event. What brought you there? What did you buy? How much did it cost?
  3. Post the picture(s) Of course, you should tell a little bit about the ones you post
  4. Use the MarketFriday Community Platform to post #hive-196308 (this is not required, but appreciated)
  5. Drop the link into the MarketFriday comment section so I can find it
  6. Following me and reblogging the post so more see it would be appreciated !! Not a rule, just appreciated, more vision for more views on your posts!
  7. You must put #MarketFriday by @dswigle somewhere on your post. If you don't and someone reads it, there is nothing to tie #MarketFriday to that post.
  8. Please only one post each week. Believe it not, I run out of voting power if you put in many more than that.
  9. Please use good taste in what you post. If you are going to buy liquor and go on a bender, I am pretty sure that nobody wants to hear about it. Regarding the posts, I would like to hear about the post a little. Here is my market and 20 pictures, many of them blurry? I would rather see a few pictures that I can see what it is. This is not a criticism, this is to help you become a better poster. Better posts equal better payouts.

As always, please remember! #MarketFriday loves you!

I think modern days don't need to bury in the ground but my friend who knows some Korean said they have two fridge for their home and one for things like kimchi. I saw a TV programme showing the making; layering the spice in between that cabbage leaves is a laborious process.
Have been avoiding that food court for a while because of covid-19 cluster near there. . Their dining regulations is same as restaurant; up to 5 in a group but must all be vaccinated although you say take out and they just let you in without policing.

In the small villages that still bury it. This was less than 10 years ago but I'm sure that many do use two refrigerators. You can make kimchi! If I can make it, you can make it. I may even dig a hole for it. LOL
