Travelgirl Goes to Ikea with Mum | 跟媽咪到宜家買東西

Hi Everyone/大家好,

It’s been awhile since I had leave so I met up with mum for lunch at Ikea. Why Ikea? Because Ikea is not close to public transport for her we both need to get a few things there so we decided to eat there too which normally have some acceptable options for lunch. The last time we both went was before COVID so we were not expecting too much when we get there considering there is a limit on the seating for customers.

很久沒有放假所以用這個機會可以約媽咪吃一個飯但是為什麼要去宜家呢？因為我們兩個都要買一些家居用品所以就去這裏食一個中午飯. 對上一次都到宜家是疫情之前所以今次佢都預料會有一些限制.

We need to check in before ordering. We can see that there were far less seats than it used to and all seats are pretty far apart. They person in charge took our details and we proceed to order our food. Again we found the food options was far less than it used to be. We ordered a veggie ball meal, garlic bread, fish and cheap and a potato gratin. For coffee and teas, we need to go to the cafe next door and we can’t use the self service area. The meal prices were pretty much the same as before so nothing changed there.

去到餐廳外面有工作人員幫你登記資料. 很明顯這裏的座位比以前少了很多而且座位分開得比較遠希望大家都會有一些距離. 食物明顯選擇少了好多而且沒有自助咖啡和茶供應要在隔離一間咖啡室買. 我們最後叫了一份菜丸餐，蒜蓉包，炸魚加薯條和一個土豆糕. 雖然其他東西有變間這裏食物的價錢就沒有什麼大改變.

We were also give disposable cutlery and tissues which was given at checkout. Sauces were also given at checkout, pretty much nothing is self serve anymore. After our quick meal, we got a few things for the house and left quickly. It was school holiday so there were more people than a usual weekday. Just as we were leaving, we checked out the Ikea supermarket but it was pretty empty mainly due to the limited stock coming through due to the pandemic situation. Hopefully things will return to normal soon as I do miss some of the biscuits we used to get at Ikea.

現時他們給客人都是即棄餐具比以往可以再用的就沒有了.我們去的時候是學校假期所以人流比平日多所以我們很快地買了一些需要的用品就回家. 離開之前就一定要看看這裏的宜家超市.看見這裏產品比以前少應該都是因為貨源進口有限. 都希望疫情盡快過了之後貨源可以繼續運過來照常營業.
