Travelgirl’s Childhood Memories | Travelgirl 一些童年回憶

My mum was cleaning up her house and found a few things she kept from my childhood and bought it over to my place to keep or to throw out, my decision. Of course I kept them and showed them to my own kids. Today I want to use this opportunity to show you two things. I probably have more to show later on when she finds more and maybe can make this a new theme for my blog so you can know a bit a more about me.

最近媽咪在家裏整理發現一些以前我小時候一些玩具和用品. 前幾天她來我家拿了一點給我看看所以今天跟大家分享兩樣東西. 因為她比較休閒所以應該會繼續拿更多東西到我家給我自己收藏.

This bottle used to be my water bottle. Mum kept it as I used to love holding maybe due to the shape of the bottle unlike the traditional round bottles babies normally use. The groves are great for fingers and also the colour is bright so maybe I was attracted to this bottle. I had many photos when I was a baby holding this bottle so I was quite surprised to see this in real life.

首先這一個是我小時候最喜歡用的水樽. 媽咪只是收藏這個因為以前我只會用這個水樽喝水其他都不會喜歡用.這個水樽其實是一個奶樽但因為顏色鮮艷而且手感好所以她覺得收藏起來我將來可以給我小朋友看. 其實以前在照片常常看到這個水樽但今次都是第一次見實物所以感覺有點感動.

The other thing mum bought over was this vintage Mickey Mouse cup. We came to Australia not long and mum took us to see Disney on Ice. Watching shows back in the days were very expensive and mum would save up to take us to these special events and buy use something “cheap” there to take home (although nothing are really that cheap at these events) and she has kept the cup since. Had a look on Ebay and these cups are going for $25USD+ each. I guess these are quite valuable and have many memories with it.

另外一個就是我們剛剛來澳洲時媽咪帶我們去看迪士尼 On Ice 演唱會的一個紀念杯. 以前來澳洲的時候生活比較困難但媽咪都會盡量儲錢帶我們到不同活動希望我們可以見識多一些不一樣的東西.這個水杯就是當在時迪士尼活動最平的產品但其實已經是很貴所以她覺得收藏起來做一個紀念.今天在網上拍賣看見這個杯要$25美元以上可想而知這些紀念品是那麼珍貴.
