I Want To Marry A Poet.

We both will join our inks together to form a pool of words
and build the desired world with those words.
Every moment will be for the renewal of our marital vows,
in the most amazing sonnets and lyrics.

When he's sad, I can easily draft and recite a Limerick,
to get him back on his feet.
When he's angry, I can easily sing eulogies and panegyrics,
to melt his cold heart.

In the morning, we will both look out of the window,
and tell of the wonderful love of nature,
at night, we will look at the moon
and then hum some lullabies before travelling to the Dreamland.

He knows the nitty-gritty of poetry,
he will add most ingredients and season his pen with grace,
then write of his love for me at a stare into my face.

Our children will see us as pen gods,
and learn the art of poetry from the womb,
people will see us and get green envious eyes,
and we will forever be "THE WRIGHTS".

Diary of a young lady who decided to write against the popular thread 'I Don't Want To Marry A Poet'.

Thank you for your time.

My pen doesn't bleed, it speaks, with speed and ease.

Still me,

My tongue is like the pen of a ready writer.

Hahahaha. Love life of a poet would be amazing because of the creativity they would both yield but as you have said, one man's meal is another man's poison.
