I'm sure alot of us are excited that the Twitter ban in our country has been lifted. Fortunately for us, it coincided with the period that @hive-data created the Hive Twitter Community.
So that means we Nigerians can easily promote hive on Twitter right?

I've never really been a twitter person tbh, but I do acknowledge the fact that twitter is a very powerful tool that can be used to support a cause - the endsars protests is a good example.
If we want to propagate the gospel of hive on twitter, I believe there's no two way to doing it. All we need to do is make lots and lots of noise about it. We all need to become Apostles of hive on the streets of twitter. Show unbelievers what they're missing and watch as many Sheep will flock in.
Most Nigerians are smart and resourceful. Having more of them here will make us a formidable force here.
At this point, I rest my case.

I was asking him about how to set up VPN and he gave me a gist of how the VPN thingy spoilt his phone battery and I was like....Uudommeannitttt!
Lol... depends on the VPN he is using tho. Been using Vpn for years and I don't think it has ever damaged my battery.

Okay, this is the first time I am hearing VPN spoilt someone's battery @readthisplease what VPN were you using?
The truth is that ban or no ban, most people have been on twitter all these while. Personally, I'm not a big fan of twitter, or a fan of social media generally. Apart from hive and other earning sites the only social media I use is WhatsApp. I have never had a Facebook account, but then i have a twitter account specially for stuff like this and claiming airdrops.

The ban didn't affect me personally as I've been using twitter with a VPN. I don't care for them lifting the ban or not. They know why they did it, it's all for their politicking
Yeahh. It's great that we can now use Twitter here in Nigeria without VPN because it was really an issue.
One has to use trusted VPNs & most of the authentic ones require some sort of subscription. Glad it's all over now though.
I'm also really happy about this Hive Twitter movement as Twitter is a great place to create awareness
One way I think would be a great way for us to promote Hive on Twitter is by hosting SPACES
Twitter space is a nice feature Twitter has added to help people from various communities connect on a voice level.
I've been in a couple of them & I've learnt alot from people & other communities as a whole.
So I believe hosting a HIVE SPACE on Twitter will be a great way to create alot of Hive awareness, reach out to alot of persons & answers questions & clear doubts.

I am glad the ban was lifted because using a VPN was so tiring and I hardly used Twitter because of it, still don't but at least I have the option.
How to promote hive on Twitter you asked?
Well, getting a group of hivers to write something meaningful about hive at the same time would be a great way to promote hive.
Also, we can promote in certain comments sections of influential people that ask for businesses to be promoted, might be tricky but this can work.
If we are willing to go further, paying certain people could also be a means.
I feel like twitter is really complicated and strategy is needed to properly promote things there.

Well looking how twitter works it based on how a tag is used ,the traffic on it determines how it going far is going to surface and show more visibility.
It very simple to make #hivenaija trend we all just have to connect our hive account with our twitter using the poshtokens and make sure every of our post is also shared on Twitter using both hashtags #hivenaija, #hivetwitterb with time it should attract and be recognized

To me I believe when we share hive on our profile and we tag some people through that when those you tag sees it they probably will retweet and so therefore from there it will start to go round any many will see it
As a frequent and ardent member of the Twitter community, I have experienced ways blogs and advertisements are promoted to gain audience. Some ways include:
Opening a Twitter account for that purpose which is to promote the hive blog Naija on Twitter.
Thus, creating contents that promotes creative and attractive headlines on hives to catch the public attention
Another way is, continual tweeting with hash tags to make the blog popular and tagging current and marketable influences to help with promotions.
OTHER means includes Twitter ads or Twitter polls, I remember engaging in several Twitter polls, they seem interesting to be part of. Also, the use of images that portray the hive blog and witnesses to that account.
Hashtags could include #hivenaija #hiveblog #naijaonhives #naijavibesonhives etc.
However, all these are non-achievable if the team effort is a failure... Trust me 😐

This is a brilliant idea but as we all know one thing is to bring up an idea , another one is to achieve it. In my opinion can we achieve it ? YES but it takes morethan just spoken words but actions.
