A WISH FOR MY BROTHER

It's my first time posting in this community and I hope I am welcomed.
The traffic in some of the Nigerian states is something else coupled with the bad roads we have, as such, the rate of accident is becoming insurmountable. I only wish my brother never got involved in this 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

It was on a fateful Saturday afternoon when I was all so busy with chores at home, a distress call came in asking me to avail myself at the Immanuel General Hospital, Eket Akwa-Ibom State.
I got so bothered because it wasn't up to 30 minutes after you said goodbye to us and left for the bank. I hurried leaving the younger ones at home and praying that all will fall into place. On getting to the hospital, everywhere was so quiet and again I thought It was a plan to get me abducted.. I called the number you called with and nobody was answering, I reluctantly walked towards the emergency ward and I could see you at a distance in excruciating pains. You beckoned on me and I came closer to you and asked to know what the problem was and how it happened, you explained that you got knocked down by a Mercedes Benz who trampled on your feet in a bid to escape one of the crazy wheelbarrow hawkers. I felt broken but I was consoled because the driver showed up and owned up to his responsibility unknown to me that it was a camouflage.

We all played soft with the driver but he took us for fools. He escaped and never showed up again. With a heavy heart, we held you because you could barely walk on your own. We got home with so much thought on how to raise the money for your X-ray and treatment a condition we're still struggling with..

We've resolved to prayers and so I ask the world to help pray for my brother to get well soon.

It breaks my heart to see you in pains and to see you have sleepless night. We sincerely forgive the driver at least for not allowing you to lay by the road side loosing blood.. we pray he comes to the conciousness of the damage and pains he has cause you and the Lord forgives him..

Please dear get well soon so we could be happy again.
I hope to return with a testimony of healing and financial support soonest.
