The song I chose for this week's theme is: FIGHT SONG popularized by Ms. Rachel Platten.
She said, she composed and wrote this song at a hard time in her life and needed to remind herself, to remember to believe in herself.
I believe we all need to pat ourselves on our shoulders, to motivate ourselves. Who else is going to be there for us, if we don't pick ourselves up and keep trying, keep going.
Sure, we all have friends and family, yet everyone now a days are so busy with their own troubles. Most will come and go, and so the best thing really is to learn the art of self-motivation. This is one of the best ways to keep on going.
Gotta convince yourself that everything is going to be fine; and so, once you've acheived your goal, small or big, you will feel FREEDOM from all those fears, worries and the people or places you had to put up with.
So yeah, Ms. Rachel's song FIGHT SONG got me in the mood and I hope you liked my singing.
By the way, I dropped by @lecumberre's page and watched his entry "Connection with four strings".
APPLAUSE APPLAUSE for his playing and singing. Oh! I love the energy and enjoyed listening. Then towards the end of his song, BRAVOOO!!!
I loved his energy really!
Also, to @jerrytsuseer your music - it's melody - so romantic. Though the song was sad, I'm still going to invite my husband for dinner at a romantic restaurant just because of how my mood was set by the melody of your choice of music. Hope I find an affordable restaurant this weekend. Hehehe!!!
And to @purplesinger - Ms. Barbara, I don't know why, but after listening to @jerrytsuseer entry and then continued on to your video, it surely confirmed my decision to go out with my husband. Thank you for your singing. I loved your voice.

La canción que elegí para el tema de esta semana es: FIGHT SONG popularizada por la Sra. Rachel Platten.
Dijo que compuso y escribió esta canción en un momento difícil de su vida y necesitaba recordarse a sí misma, recordar creer en sí misma.
Creo que todos necesitamos darnos palmaditas en nuestros hombros, para motivarnos. Quién más va a estar ahí para nosotros, si no nos levantamos y seguimos intentándolo, seguimos adelante.
Claro, todos tenemos amigos y familiares, sin embargo, hoy en día todos están tan ocupados con sus propios problemas. La mayoría vendrán y se irán, por lo que lo mejor es aprender el arte de la automotivación. Esta es una de las mejores maneras de seguir adelante.
Tienes que convencerte de que todo va a estar bien; y así, una vez que hayas logrado tu objetivo, pequeño o grande, te sentirás LIBERADO de todos esos miedos, preocupaciones y de las personas o lugares que tuviste que soportar.
Así que sí, la canción FIGHT SONG de la Sra. Rachel me puso de humor y espero que les haya gustado mi forma de cantar.
Por cierto, pasé por la página de @lecumberre y vi su entrada "Conexión con cuatro hilos".

Además, a @jerrytsuseer tu música, es una melodía, tan romántica. Aunque la canción era triste, voy a invitar a mi esposo a cenar a un restaurante romántico solo porque mi estado de ánimo fue creado por la melodía de su elección de música. Espero encontrar un restaurante asequible este fin de semana. Jejeje!!!

By the way, may I know how did you get that background on your video ?
I'd like to do that for my next video.
It's called "green screen " you must do the recording in front of the green screen (other colors work but green is preferred by most software)
Then using the software you replace the green with your chosen background.
I have Wondershare Filmora, but it is complex and buggy and their support is in China.
There are many other apps that will do this... good luck

I must say your voice is amazing, I love your energetic vibe too... You did so well with maintaining that pitch. I wish I could sing that loud and keep a high pitch but I always mess it up. I'm not perfect on that yet but I guess I'll keep practicing.
I've not heard this song before but hearing your cover makes me wanna add it to my playlist asap. It seems like a song about self-motivation and freedom from our lows, I like it! And it's a good choice for this week's theme 👍.
Also, knowing that you have these amazing Hivers as your friends and inspiration is really nice.

You are correct, practice is the key.
I'm an only child so no playmates at home. My nanny said one day, 'stop following me around and try doing something that you can be good at'
So she taught me to use the music system and ever since I just kept listening to music (since watching TV was not allowed much when I was young), and found myself singing along.

I've always loved music and singing, I think I got interested in it by just watching my mom sing. I've never been trained, it just came naturally and I hope to be perfect with time and practice. Like you said, practice is key!

Yes I am a proud new dad of a baby girl. She's 14 months now and taking her first few steps, and being very careful about it, which is a bit funny because she is very brave at climbing things and swimming or going down slides with me!
She also seems to love noisy toys like my harmonicas and penny-whistles as well as her own xylophones and rattles so that's exciting. She seemed to love a piano when we visited friends who have one... hopefully we can do that again soon! (I mustn't put too much pressure on her to be better at music than me! Hahaha)
