Un saludo amoroso para todos mis amigos de Hive, es un placer para mí estar una nueva semana en el gran compartir musical de open mic. Para la semana numero 145 la temática es “Glory” y no he duda en cantar una canción que hable de uno de los hombres que lleno de gloria la historia de nuestro continente, me refiero a Simón Bolívar. Conocido como El Sol de América, Bolívar fue un estratega maravilloso y una pieza fundamental para le independencia de Venezuela, Colombia, Perú, Ecuador y Bolivia. Su historia está hecha de míticas hazañas y aunque algunos creen que es un personaje idealizado, sin duda la herencia de su pensamiento libertario ha definido enormemente el imaginario de nuestro pueblo.
Esta canción es una bella nana de la agrupación venezolana Serenata Guayanesa, tiene por nombre “Nana para Simón” la conocí en la publicación del disco/libro “Mi canción es alegría” del Fondo Editorial Ipasme, que me fue obsequiado hace ya varios años, por uno de los titiriteros más influyente en el estado Táchira. Esta edición cuenta con 16 hermosas canciones del género infantil, entre ellas, la Nana para Simón. Un hermoso tema cuya música corresponde a la tradicional canción de cuna de nuestro país, asociada históricamente a la melodía del himno nacional. La letra por otra parte es totalmente diferente, es una nana dirigida a un niño llamado Simón, aludiendo al Libertador Simón Bolívar, y con tiernas palabras se arrullan los sueños de libertad.
Esta idea es maravillosa, en mi opinión no es solo una canción, sino una invitación a sembrar desde las infancias la conciencia y el amor por la libertad propia y la colectiva, por los derechos fundamentales e inalienables; ¿puede haber algo más glorioso que eso? Espero disfruten de mi presentación, y atesoren esta bella canción.

A loving greeting to all my friends of Hive, it is a pleasure for me to be a new week in the great musical sharing of open mic. For week number 145 the theme is "Glory" and I have no doubt in singing a song that speaks of one of the men who filled with glory the history of our continent, I mean Simon Bolivar. Known as the Sun of America, Bolivar was a wonderful strategist and a fundamental piece for the independence of Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia. His story is made of mythical feats and although some believe that he is an idealized character, undoubtedly the legacy of his libertarian thinking has greatly defined the imaginary of our people.
This song is a beautiful lullaby by the Venezuelan group Serenata Guayanesa, it is called "Nana para Simón" (Lullaby for Simón) and I got to know it in the publication of the album/book "Mi canción es alegría" (My Song is Joy) of the Fondo Editorial Ipasme, which was given to me several years ago by one of the most influential puppeteers in the state of Táchira. This edition has 16 beautiful songs of the children's genre, among them, the Nana para Simón (Lullaby for Simon). A beautiful song whose music corresponds to the traditional lullaby of our country, historically associated to the melody of the national anthem.
