Hello Hive Open Mic 🎤 Community, Greetings to y'all…I trust we are all doing good, and as always I'm super excited to share my entry for week #122. In line with this week's theme "Emotion" chosen by recent spotlight artist @sunsethunter, I'd be performing a song by English singer-songwriter "Sam Smith" called "Stay With Me".
This song is about the moment in the morning after a one-night stand, where the person you're with leaves your house and you are left by yourself , and it's just a second where you are like 'I wish, I wish' according to Sam.
Stay with me was Internationally successful reaching number one in the UK and number two on the US Billboard Hot 100. "Stay With Me" ended up winning best song of the year at the 2015 Grammys. I do hope you enjoy 🎧 my cover of this beautiful record.
