Christmas Comes Early | LarryIsAlive

It's Sunday! Yup, it's my one and only day off. Earlier in the day, my daughter and I had an appointment at the spa for some massage treatments. Oh boy, it's a much needed one for me! I feel the need to do quarterly maintenance just to relieve some tension and stress. I've taken some photos that I will be sharing over the course of the week. As you know, I hardly go out these days except when necessary. It is what it is.

As for Christmas coming early, well not the day itself but this Christmas package that was being given away from the local barangay (district) unit. Yeah, that's the local government's way of giving back to its residents. Overall, it's what most would consider to be noche buena treats. Well, Christmas eve dinner to be more clear. Since it's just me and my daughter, we're still planning on what we'll have for then. Time flies by too fast that planning ahead must be done before the day comes. Otherwise, we might get shocked when it's here and we're still not ready. LOL! 😂🤣

I'm running late as most of the afternoon and early evening was spent outside at the neighborhood mall. Now, onwards to my #LarryIsAlive quest...

Daily goal achieved ☑️ weekly goal has reset, now at 15%. Monthly goal moves a bit too. I've done the bare minimum today as I was out for most of the afternoon and early evening. I plan to catch up eventually.

It's now past midnight here, and I'm slowly getting drowsy. I'll finish what I could, then try and catch up some other days. I seriously will need to plan for some break days once in a while.

A box of Christmas food for all residents sounds like a good idea!

Here it's only the government employees who get any gifts. We did get a change in local government from rightwing to middle-of-the-road this autumn though, so hopefully they'll find better ways to spend the tax money this Christmas.

It's really good we got the Christmas package again this year. Guess it's a leftover gesture from the lockdowns in the past years. It's a welcome gesture. It's great you got a change in government. We're not too fortunate. We went from bad to worse. Boohoo for our country. I can just 🙏🙏 for things that are beyond my control. Hopefully, we'll manage to survive !LOL

I understand this feeling too. I've been getting straightened out by a chiropractor every few weeks, hopefully using a new computer chair will help my body stay where it's supposed to be. Good job with Larry and have a great week!

I did upgrade my home office space as well and got myself a comfy chair. It helped a lot since I spend most of the day on the pc. Now I have the colds since I got the massage. It makes me think if it was a good idea. !LOL

The mall seems interesting these days. I see an attempt to get back to 'as before'. Sadly, I do not feel it though. Things have really changed a lot. It's good to see quite a few people at the mall, mostly families with children. Christmas after all is for the little ones. It's a good thing our little ones are cats and kittens who are not into these holidays. !LOL happy midweek to you!

Well, when we do go out, we tend to eat out, so we do not need to cook once we get home !LOL I do like getting the massage but I got the colds now after. Even my daughter will get the flu a few days after a massage. It's mighty strange really. That didn't use to happen. Still, I like the occasional treat for myself. Happy midweek!
