What Happened? Tuesday already?

I am not entirely sure what happened to Monday. Two things, though, beginning on Sunday. Well, almost a week ago, after a message from the local deli that they were collecting fresh fish from the see. From the boats. It's been a very long time, so we jumped at the chance and ordered bream. Known locally as silvers. And when they arrived, even better, they were the pink ones.

What a treat! Simply done in the oven with mushroom, garlic and butter. Served with potato and a side salad. Perfect Sunday supper.

And another saved for another time.

Last pic is a little lot blurred 🤦🏼‍♀️

Before I get to supper on Monday (last night), remember my irritation at the transatlantic appointment not honoured?

Well, I wrote to the organisation and, I admit, I did not mince words. The upshot: an apology from a director, no less, and a rescheduled appointment. For Wednesday oh that's tomorrow, for an online writing tutoring role.

Back to last night's meatfree meal: risotto. Not entirely traditional because I discovered that we were fresh out of arborio rice and I substituted feta for the usual hard cheese like Parmesan or as, often, in my case, the local 18-month mature Gouda. The creamy saltiness works well with the sweetness of the roasted butternut. All served with a side of whole green beans.

I also ask, whatever happened to Monday, it came and went in the blink of an eye! Who said being a #silverblogger is boring? I find there's just not enough hours in the day.
I'll have some of the fish and the roasted butternut please,
