Pay It Forward - Unexpected gift

There once was a very special group called @TheSteemEngine on Steemit formed by @ethandsmith, and I was fortunate to be part of this group where I met wonderfully talented bloggers with a wide range of interests and who were all part of my growth on the blockchain. @enchantedspirit became the Curator and Pro Team Leader as Ethan's studies took him away from blogging.

Some of these special people are still active and a couple have joined us here on #silverbloggers, and that is just awesome.

A Generous Gift

About two months ago, @ethandsmith contacted us through Discord in The Lounge Car General Chat with a generous gesture; he made the decision to distribute the value of the group's Steem & Hive wallet to the members after consulting with those who responded.

This is what he had to say about this generous gift:

...it seems fitting to return the value directly to you all since you helped build it in the first place.

I'm going to tag those who have not responded, so if you know anyone on this list, please let them know as Ethan is safekeeping their share.
Four of that old group are now #silverbloggers members who have responded, so glad to have you all here @bengy, @dswigle, @bigtom13 and @slobberchops; but @tattoodjay if you read this, please contact @ethandsmith.

Pay It Forward

I've decided to delegate my share of this gift to the #silverbloggers wallet. I've already received the steem which I've converted to Hive enabling me to add an additional 300HP delegation to #silverbloggers.

I plan to do the same when the powerdown of @thesteemengine's Hive wallet has completed, and so further help boost our HP.

This is an unexpected gift and my way of saying thank you to all the people back then who supported and helped me grow.

Delegations to date

We currently have a tidy sum of 3302 HP in delegations, and I would personally like to thank each one of you; yep I'm tagging again ;) @thebigsweed, @farm-mom, @joanstewart , @ericvancewalton aka SilverSaver, @pandamama aka Silver Panda, @preparedwombat and our awesome admin @fionasfavourites aka Silver Flower.

My wish is that our Silver Bloggers Community will similarly help with the growth of our members and ultimately with the Hive platform.

It only takes a spark to get a fire going, so let's shine #silverbloggers, and set the Hive world on fire!
