New house, new friends

The first time, a few years ago, I came across some sparrows at my bedroom window when I moved into the new house. Specifically, some sparrows made their nests at my window, in a space left by the insulating layer. Cute, bohemian and romantic, right? NOT! For several years, every spring and summer, the wings have been fluttering in the tympanum of my mornings. Sometimes nauseatingly cute!

Autumn goes on vacation and my ears also have a holiday. Winter is debatable: sometimes they come, sometimes they don't. Now, you're probably wondering why I didn't destroy their nest. Well, every spring I think about doing that, and every fall I change my mind. I feel sorry. Plus, in the meantime, I've discovered earplugs. It's true, when I invested in simple earplugs or with a selective filter, I bought new ears. Or I was giving the advance for a new house!

I think I'm a lovely neighbor for singers, otherwise I can't explain how, for a few months now, I've been dealing with some parrots. And I had just gotten used to the sparrows! But you know what it's like: when you think you're ending it in a situation, the universe moves on. In my case, feathers and flakes!

Beautiful pictures and beautiful birds.
I think I would prefer your sparrows over the barking dogs and the crowing roosters which I have around here 🙂

I like their mushroom perches. I wonder if they are medicinal for parrots.

I have doubts, but who knows? They're definitely not poisonous

Gorgeous photos of these beautiful parrots! I think you are lucky to have them nesting near by and I'm happy you found a workable solution! Thanks for sharing them with the Feathered Friends Community.
