Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 7
I am not much here on #featheredfriends because me and birds don't have much of a attraction don't get me wrong , i love birds but there's a thing with birds and me they see me coming a mile away with my camera and are usually in mid-air by the time , i even raise my camera at them but some how , i have a little more luck with Pigeons maybe it's because they think you always have a hand full of food for them like Seagulls these are the only two species of birds that tend to be brave to get closer to me but still they are not silly as soon as they realize they can't smell food on me they make a run for it maybe next time , i intend going out to do a photo session on these birds , i should bring some bread or seeds with me they just might hang around longer but , i did have a bit of luck in capturing some and , i was surprised to have a few Pigeons photos in my archive once i started searched.
These i captured while having a walk around Centennial Park in Sydney.
Although their are like over three hundred species of Pigeon's the most common one that you see the most is identified as been a bluish gray with two black bands on the wing and a black tip to the tail.
This is how much i know about birds to my knowledge , i thought a Pigeon was a Pigeon but , i suppose with the amount of Pigeon's in this world they had to categorize them into there groups known as the Rock Dove, Rock Pigeon and the common Pigeon it all makes sense now who thought a Dove was in the Pigeon family.
These pair of Pigeons were racing each other on the beach to see who could get to the food first there was no sharing going on here first there first served nature is fun to watch when you take the time to observe this was called survival of the fittest.

These are very nice photos!
Thank you @nelinoeva that's nice coming from you ,i was lucky with these ones 😉
Oh, they are lovely!!!
I only see pigeons around here too!
Thank you @silversaver888 yep only pigeons and seagulls to see more i need to go inland into the bush but then they wouldn't hang around for me anyway...lol 😄
I was able to capture one photo yesterday, I don't know if it was a pigeon.
The bird was sols, and so sad, its the only one.
Not fit for show! Arrrgi!!!
The lost Bird so sad...Birds and Butterflies are the most difficult to photograph but are all so beautiful 😇
Pigeons are such survivors, and I'm still convinced cockroaches and pigeons will rule the post-apocalyptic world one day.

Haha...you could have a point there it's only these two species that you see in every corner of the world dominant creatures 😆
You never stop surprising me your photography skill. Great captures of these few Pigeons :)
Ahhhh ... now your making me blush it's all luck my camera does the work 😆
You did a terrific job being a bird whisperer with the seagulls and pigeons! Impressive, clear bird pictures you captured - not one is ready to take flight!
Thank you @ninahaskin they are much easier to photograph when they are not in flight 😉
