Long-eard owls

Hello feathered friends,

In the central part of the place where I live, on a few trees, from September to April, long-eared owls roost. The agricultural region, which offers a handful of food to various rodents, has simply become a favorite place for various birds of prey. One of the most important is this nocturnal predator.

They are mostly arranged in evergreen trees where they hide deep in the canopy. And they often take their place on birches.

Although they rest during the day, these birds are always on guard.

The sound of the camera is enough to wake them up. So I avoid disturbing them often and disrupting sleep.

They are funny birds. Luckily they stand still during the day.

Amazing photos 😍. I love owls. I have seen them myself too, but mostly when they were hiding among the branches. Once we saw 2 owls flying over us again and again, that was awesome. Our photos weren't very good though.

Thanks. It is hard to take sharp photos of these birds in motion.
