Hable con un colega que trabaja con aves rapaces en el parque zoologico de Lisboa para que nos ensenara como adiestrar un ave rapaz para realizar movimientos! un ave debe nacer en cautiverio o ser criada desde pichon para realizar este tipo de ejercicios MOVIMIENTO-COMPENSACION basicamente es ensenada ir de un punto 1 a un punto 2 con una recompensa si se logra el objetivo, es como entrenar a un perro! pero con mas dedicacion y cuidado😏😮😲

To give you an idea, a bird of prey can see a 2-millimeter insect in a 20-meter tree ... That sums it up, the claws in raptors have a muscle that in flight closes automatically and does not open until it reaches the ground, this so as not to lose its prey in flight! that's why all raptor trainers wear gloves!

Para que tengas una idea un ave rapaz consigue ver un insecto de 2milimetros en un arbol de 20 metros... Eso resume todo, las garras en aves rapacez tienen un musculo que en vuelo se cierra automaticamente y no se abre hasta llegar a tierra, esto para no perder su presa en vuelo! por eso todos los entrenadores de aves rapacez usan guantes!

In my experience and based on what the hilty book tells us, 2002 these birds are commonly solitary when seen in pairs they are in the reproductive stage as for example photograph these two individuals in courtship!💖💞

En mi experiencia y basados en los que nos dice el libro de hilty,2002 estas aves son comunmente solitarias cuando se ven en parejas estan en etapa reproductiva como por ejemplo fotografie estos dos individuos en cortejo!💑👨‍👩‍👧

They are usually common in suburban areas and rural areas little seen in urban areas! I generally saw them more active in the daytime (10:00) and in the evening (16:00) I managed to photograph hunting small lizards, and rats😳😳🦅🦎🐁

Suelen ser comun en zonas suburbanas y zonas rurales poco avistadas en zonas urbanas! generalmente las vi mas activa en horas diurnas (10:00) y en horario vespertino (16:00) consegui fotografiar cazando pequenos lagartos, y ratas🌕🌓

When the sun is intense they tend to bundle up to avoid consuming essential energy, they are generally seen among the trees waiting for the sun to go down to hunt!☀😶🙃

Cuando el sol esta intenso acostumbran abrigarse para evitar consumir energia indispensable, generalmente se ven entre los arboles esperando bajar el sol para cazar!🦅🐦👁

For example, I photographed this specimen in an ACACIA tree at 12:00 it was emitting sounds, probably communicating to mark its territory. It is rare to see 2 American kestrels sharing an area!🚩🧭🌏

Por ejemplo este ejemplar lo fotografie en un arbol de ACACIA a las 12:00 estaba emitiendo unos sonidos, probablemente comunicandose para marcar su territorio es raro ver 2 cernicalos americanos compartiendo un area!😧😨😾

I had the privilege of photographing him in flight, truly an elegant one from the sky, he flies very fast! they usually hunt with very violent vertical turns some tend to hurt themselves in a bad fall😮🙃😕
