Swift Terns at the ocean.

We were at the sardine hunt and I sat watching the terns resting in between the action.

A day's adventure trip down to the coast with so much to see that we simply couldn't keep up. Ever been in one of those situations where there is so much to see, that you don't know where to start?
Today was such a day.

The family of Swift Terns (Thallaseus bergil) gathered on the rocks to rest in between their hunting sorties.

They were at it the whole morning hunting Sardines with the Seals. We had a Sardine run today and it was a madhouse in the water.

The seals were gathering the sardine shoal and leading them into the bay.

Meanwhile the sea tide was coming in and the waves blasted the gulls off the rocks.

Oh yes, it was indeed a great day out and we haven't done this for a long time. Taking a weekend off is like Christmas for us and tomorrow we are going to explore a famous mountain pass, where a mountain leopard was seen recently by a friend.
So yes, wish me luck that I can get that leopard on camera.

And That's All Friends!

We hope that you have enjoyed the story and the pictures.
