Waiting for the storm.

047.JPG

Mr. and Mrs. Pied Crow decided to nip out to the shops before nightfall to get some food.

Afternoon here and we were all waiting for the black storm as it was on its way and has already flooded other towns towards the south. The day was dark with the sun only breaking through occasionally. Then at 3pm the wind started and it is currently screaming at speeds of 80-100 kph.

First Mr. Crow arrived at their parking spot to wait for his wife.

She made her appearance about 10 minutes later.

So Mr. Crow pulled her jacket straight on her right shoulder.

Clouds were driven over the mountain peaks and it always fascinates me.

But I digress, as Mr. Crow decided that it was time to go.

But of course, like a lady Mrs. Crow first had to make some final adjustments to her dress. Or maybe she was checking if she had the shopping list. Or she could have checked if she had the house key, or if she had her bag of make up, or,or.or.

Eventually she was ready and also took off on the journey to the shops.

Very similar to my own married life. I can leave anywhere in a flash, but oh my, I cannot as I have to wait for the missus. She doesn't wear make up, so it's a time saver right? Wrong, as somehow she always finds last minute things to do before we can leave.
Sort of like we are leaving permanently and everything all of a sudden needs to be checked. Hair, windows, doors, roof, room by room, closing and opening doors and even checking if the one mirror is still clean hahaha.
Any excuse to keep me waiting in the car for 30 minutes.
Such is life.

And That's All Friends.

Does your wife keep you waiting?
Or ladies, your man?

Note: All photos are my own and taken with a Canon Powershot SX60HS Bridge camera.

We hope that you have enjoyed the story and pictures.

Hahaha, I will have to take your hubby aside one day to let him tell me all of his woes.
I am sure hat he will have another opinion, but he sounds like a kind man and he lets you rule the nest 🤣

I enjoyed your photos and story... Yes, my wife keeps me waiting but it's ok. We joke about it all the time :-)

Thank you Sir Keith and yes, all that we can do is joke about it. But in all honesty, at times I hint at it, but of course that doesn't help.

I do a thing where I stand outside my hands on my hips, tapping one foot on the ground impatiently. My wife says "you're going to wear that shoe out!" It's all just a good-natured joke though :-)

Hahaha, I wait in the car for her to come and as she get's in, then I suddenly find something and step out with my camera. So I walk around for some time and as I get back into the car she has a stock remark, "I thought you said that you are in a hurry"? 🤣

I like your foot tapping idea and will adopt it. Let's hope that it works 🙂

Cheers and !BEER

(Edited)

Oh yeah and when she beats me with a baseball bat, I will send you the bill Lol.
Maybe she will slap me with her handbag, as that thing is as heavy as a truck with all of the things that she keeps in it 🤣

The bird is good for person and make to know it.
The living in the forest so lovely and make feel better with nature and we can know it to find food anywhere.
