thorn-trapped

A macro of occasional find during a short April walk.

IMG_9651w.jpg

This majestic feather was trapped, and stuck on acacia thorns. I didnt resqued it but took a dozen of shots instead. The very-soon rainy weather spoiled any further possible creative relationship with it.

Thanks for stopping by!

@melinda010100, did you decide to develop the f-f community account?.. (curious). glad you enjoyed this shot :P

Yes! OCD is giving the account a delegation and I want to build it to be a curation account.

same thing as I am already doing! I find it a very good idea folks be getting curation for their posts to the group from the group account. (at the moment, I've managed to accumulate as much as 40 SP -- as the posts I do from community acc, are getting extremely insufficien voting attention.. heh)
please can you tell me, where I can find more info on it? I would like to get OCD help, too! glad that I noticed you doing it :P

OCD has been curating the Feathered Friends Community for a couple of months and they are recently beginning to expand their community curation. Go to the Discord to tell them about Fungilovers.

thank you! amazing to have a feedback, I just was alerted from another nature photographer about this OCD initiative. the word of mouth is going in circles. and the fact it is coming, means this job is being appreciated, and its a decent, useful job, isnt it? meowwww!

there are two recent posts on OCD that discuss delegation assistance programs. @qwerrie maybe you should check that.

@anwars, this is the way of things I love! everything comes to the one who waits. TNKS a lot for pointing me to this. when I received your comment, I already wrote to OCD discord channel and discuss this issue with the group moderator. I think that (a better curation from community acc) would be rather a good thing, for the folks will have more stimul to post into dedicated communities? generally, this is a way to go... thank you, again, for the care. ps. just added you to the group members.

yeah. will see. we are a small but cool group, and still growing. if OCD will support the biggest and most mainstream ones now -- maybe the smaller and more dedicated communities is the thing of the future. meanwhile, I will look forward to your full-of-perfection photos, please.

You should be able to see it in the OCD Discord Channel under Community Colaboration. There is an announcement In 'general' and Fungi Lovers has a channel now where you can drop links for posts for them to consider curating. If you can't see it tell them that you can't see the community channels so that they can activate you.

hello there, Melinda! sorry for not replying momentarily, was back in town and totally skipped my Hive duties, hehe :) I wanted to say once again a huge thanks to you, for alerting and providing me some guides. the word of mouth plays indispensable role!
as for the making the apropriate info-ad-post, it was the 1st thing that came to mind. I think its a must thing to do. will do it not immediately, but asap, when some dust will settle down. (too much duties on me recently..) skipped the Photochain glass on glass week... and maybe even the O-alphabet-hunt :/

I am quite happy it all worked out! Remember that you can also drop member links in the DNA curation feed to get extra votes for your community members.
Hope things calm down for you soon!

Hope things calm down for you soon!

uh, I guess not! I just applied my resume for the vacancy of a retoucher-photoshop trained specialist, and "started to hold my breathing" ... (if you remember or not, I am a jobless since January, with no money on the horizon, and that is a bad thing when one have a family and growing baby on my hands..) so, I wish quite the contrary thing will happen to me! It will be less time for the blockchain for me, but eventually a decent salary for a decent work (my last job was a nasty place from this point of view).

happily FL has another moderator, and the posts came in at lesser speed that from birding hunters

:P
