TWO BIRDS
The birds must be present in the same photo

Living on Prince Edward Island, surrounded by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, there are always lots of seagulls around.

I caught these two seagulls as they were gearing down to land on a rooftop.

Two other seagulls wait patiently near a takeout restaurant on the waterfront in Souris, PEI in case someone may drop a french fry or throw away an ice cream cone. They may be called scavengers but they clean up any thrown away food. Seagulls are one of nature’s vacuum cleaners.

I debated whether to use this photo as the one for the contest but thought the one above with the seagulls starting to land was more interesting.

Unlikely friends- the grackle and the bluejay size each other up on the lawn where I leave food for the birds.

From my archives-two Pigeons on the waterfront in Halifax. I took this photo while visiting in Nova Scotia.

You had a handful of two birds photos to share and I am just envying you right now using all of them in on post for the contest when I don't even have any hahahha. Yes, the first one looks cool because of the way the bird wanted to and but I think I love the second one the most, the birds are lovely looking, and for a fact that one is looking healthier than one lol.

Thanks @zanoz. Birds are always a favorite subject of mine and I have a lot of bird photos.🙂 I’m sorry you didn’t have a photo for the contest but you still have time to find two birds together.

It was difficult to decide which photo to use for contest. I see you have a good eye and noticed one of the seagulls in the photo you liked looks bigger (healthier) than the other.

I had a hawk in my backyard yesterday. By the time I had gotten my camera he proceeded to turn his back on me and then fly away. I was bummed. But a beautiful creature!

I know the seagulls and how annoying they sometimes can be, but I still like to watch them annoy other people 😉

Good morning Hannes,🙂

Seagulls can be a nuisance at fast food areas but I always like to see them.One time I saw one jumping on car hoods waiting for the people eating in their vehicles to throw him something...most gave him a french fry or something.

The blue jays didn’t like the grackles around but sort of accepted the fact they were not leaving.

we don't have many seagulls here at our lakes and it's always a pleasure to see one. On the tourist spots they are busy annoying people to get food, but these are places I don't visit anyway 😁

Everything is going OK here. I have fallen into the pattern of this isolated lifestyle and I'm learning to enjoy my routine. We have another new contest beginning this week... I hope you like that one, too! 😊
