Rompiendo los ladrillos del aburrimiento con " Ancient bricks" [Es-En]

Saludos amigos de Geek Zone. En esta ocasión les traigo una publicación basada en un juego de tema clásico llamado “Ancient Bricks”. Espero que puedan disfrutarlo.

Greetings friends of Geek Zone. This time I bring you a post based on a classic theme game called "Ancient Bricks". I hope you can enjoy it.

Si eres de los que disfrutas más destruyendo ladrillos que armándolos pues este juego atraerá tu atención desde el primer momento en el que lo empieces a jugar. “Ancient Bricks” es un juego basado en el clásico tema “rompe ladrillos” en los que pondrás a prueba muchas de tus habilidades y aptitudes a fin de salir victorioso.

De plano parece ser un juego aburrido y muy básico y esto se debe a la poca imaginación que tuvieron para hacer la imagen de portada en la cual ni siquiera colocan el nombre del juego, aparte de ser muy uniforme en cuanto al tono de color y sonido de fondo, con espacios de sobra que hacen ver muchos vacíos en la presentación y mostrando en el fondo una especie de mapa relacionado a lo que parece el interior de una pirámide.

If you are one of those who enjoy destroying bricks more than building them, this game will attract your attention from the first moment you start playing it. "Ancient Bricks is a game based on the classic "brick breaker" theme in which you will put many of your skills and abilities to the test in order to emerge victorious.

It seems to be a boring and very basic game and this is due to the little imagination they had to make the cover image in which they do not even place the name of the game, apart from being very uniform in terms of color tone and background sound, with plenty of spaces that make you see many gaps in the presentation and showing in the background a kind of map related to what looks like the inside of a pyramid.

El juego en esencia es muy simple: tienes tres bolas para en cada nivel romper todos los ladrillos que se encuentren. En los primeros, te irán señalando a modo de tutorial como jugar, como utilizar los comodines y las bonificaciones así como también el canalete que utilizas para guiar la bola hacia arriba y dar con el objetivo. Obviamente si dejas que la bola sobrepase el canalete en tres ocasiones durante el mismo nivel, entonces habrás perdido la oportunidad de avanzar al siguiente.

Dentro de cada stage o nivel la estructura del juego es muy diversa. A medida que vas rompiendo bloques, vas obteniendo piedras de oro, diamantes, gemas y otras rocas preciosas que al acumular luego te darán opciones para evolucionar ya sea con la forma o tamaño del canalete así como también la velocidad y el poder de la bola. Los niveles no son cronometrados a menos que sea un nivel difícil que así lo especifique, pero si logras superar los niveles en poco tiempo esto también redunda en monedas como ganancia.

The game is essentially very simple: you have three balls in each level to break all the bricks you find. In the first ones, you will be shown in tutorial mode how to play, how to use the jokers and bonuses as well as the chute that you use to guide the ball up and hit the target. Obviously if you let the ball go over the chute three times during the same level, then you will have lost the opportunity to advance to the next one.

Within each stage or level the structure of the game is very diverse. As you break blocks, you get gold stones, diamonds, gems and other precious rocks that when accumulated will give you options to evolve either the shape or size of the ball as well as the speed and power of the ball. The levels are not timed unless it is a difficult level that specifies so, but if you manage to overcome the levels in a short time this also results in coins as a gain.

Los comodines son muchísimos y le dan un toque muy intenso a cada jugada. Con respecto al canalete, existe un comodín que lo hace ensancharse más de lo normal, otro lo hace disparar bolas de fuego y también hay uno que lo convierte en imán por unos segundos, lo que te permite tener mayor control de velocidad y dirección con los tiros.

Con respecto a la bola, hay comodines que la convierten en bola de fuego, de hielo (la cual congela los bloques y los destruye más rápido), bola con descargas eléctricas, y una de color verde que la hace destruir absolutamente todo lo que encuentre a su paso. También hay una de color azul que le genera más velocidad a la bola y la permite rebotar con mayor contundencia, y una que en pleno juego multiplica la bola por tres, hasta pudiendo jugar con seis bolas a la vez, algo tan superlativo que pasa pocas veces y cuesta mucho mantener.

There are a lot of jokers and they give a very intense touch to every play. There is a joker that makes it widen more than usual, another one makes it shoot fireballs and there is also one that turns it into a magnet for a few seconds, which allows you to have more control over the speed and direction of the shots.

Regarding the ball, there are jokers that turn it into a fireball, an ice ball (which freezes the blocks and destroys them faster), a ball with electric discharges, and a green one that makes it destroy absolutely everything in its path. There is also a blue one that generates more speed to the ball and allows it to bounce with more forcefulness, and one that in the middle of the game multiplies the ball by three, even being able to play with six balls at the same time, something so superlative that it happens very rarely and is very hard to maintain.

Pero no todo lo que cae desde arriba es bueno, ya que existen comodines que juegan contra ti, sobre todo contra el canalete. Hay algunos que hacen que este se ponga más lento de lo debido, otro lo pone más chiquito e incluso hay un comodín representado con un candado negro, el cual condena al canalete sin dejarlo mover a ningún lado por algunos segundos.

A medida que vas avanzando en el juego vas acumulando joyas y monedas para luego canjearlas por más ventajas en el juego. Al superar algunos niveles notarás que se abrirán dos clases de submundos en el juego llamados tumbas y minas. En el caso del primero, es otro conjunto de niveles que debes ir superando entre exigencia media y difícil. De hecho, es aquí donde me encontré con un nivel cinco bastante duro de pasar ya que tiene una especie de molino movedizo que actúa como trampa para destruir la bola.

But not everything that falls from above is good, since there are jokers that play against you, especially against the channel. There are some that make it slower than it should be, others make it smaller, and there is even a joker represented with a black padlock, which condemns the canalete without letting it move anywhere for a few seconds.

As you advance in the game you will accumulate jewels and coins to exchange them for more advantages in the game. When you pass some levels you will notice that two kinds of underworlds will open in the game called tombs and mines. In the case of the former, it's another set of levels that you have to go through between medium and hard difficulty. In fact, it is here that I encountered a level five that was quite hard to pass as it has a sort of quicksand mill that acts as a trap to destroy the ball.

El otro submundo, llamado mina, es como una clase de excavación en la que tú vas avanzando con el objetivo de acumular la mayor cantidad de monedas y joyas posibles, mientras que encuentras unas llaves que te permiten jugar niveles bloqueados que se encuentran en el mapa de las cámaras, que es el del inicio.

Con respecto al grado de dificultad, mucho dependerá de cuan bien puedas manejar el canalete y aprovechar al máximo los comodines. Algo que puede jugar contra tu concentración es el hecho de que, como todo cae desde arriba, a veces puedes perder de vista la bola o dudar al buscar las piedras preciosas o los comodines. Es imposible agarrarlas todas, pero no hay de qué preocuparse pues estas abundan en todos los niveles.

The other underworld, called mine, is like a kind of excavation in which you go forward with the goal of accumulating as many coins and jewels as possible, while you find keys that allow you to play locked levels found in the map of the chambers, which is the one at the beginning.

With respect to the degree of difficulty, a lot will depend on how well you can manage the fob and make the most of the jokers. Something that can play against your concentration is the fact that, as everything falls from above, you can sometimes lose sight of the ball or hesitate when looking for the precious stones or the jokers. It is impossible to catch them all, but there is nothing to worry about as they are plentiful in all levels.

Adicionalmente y como cuarta opción en el menú principal tienes para obtener más ganancias viendo videos, algo que no es tan necesario ya que el juego te presenta múltiples modos de juegos además de que puedes hacerlo sin necesidad de estar conectado a internet.

Sin duda que Ancient Bricks es un juego que exige a fondo tu capacidad para dirigir la trayectoria de la bola mediante el canalete, pone a prueba tus habilidades para reaccionar ante las diversas trampas que se puedan presentar y que serán un gran reto para tu concentración y agilidad mental. Se trata de un juego muy adictivo por la versatilidad del juego, la estructura y el esquema de los niveles son muy atractivos y no son repetitivos en la posición de los ladrillos, al contrario, parecen esculturas antiguas representativas de las pirámides.

Additionally and as a fourth option in the main menu you have the option to get more profit by watching videos, something that is not so necessary since the game presents you with multiple game modes and you can do it without being connected to the internet.

Undoubtedly, Ancient Bricks is a game that demands your ability to direct the trajectory of the ball by means of the gutter, it tests your skills to react to the different traps that can be presented and that will be a great challenge for your concentration and mental agility. It is a very addictive game due to the versatility of the game, the structure and scheme of the levels are very attractive and are not repetitive in the position of the bricks, on the contrary, they look like ancient sculptures representative of the pyramids.

Algo que me gusta es la diversidad y complejidad de los bloques que debes romper, ya que todos no se quiebran con tanta facilidad y necesitan más de un golpe para poder quebrarse. En medio de ellos, hay cañones, explosivos y rayos laser que juegan a favor de la demolición si logras activarlos al conectar de manera directa.

Así que si buscas un juego que desafíe tu concentración y al mismo tiempo te ayuda a librarte del estrés, Ancient Bricks es una buena opción. Como todo un arqueólogo y explorador de tumbas y pirámides, asume esta aventura para exponer tus habilidades como excelente jugador, afina la puntería y rompe los ladrillos del aburrimiento con este interesante y divertido juego.

Something that I like is the diversity and complexity of the blocks that you have to break, since all of them don't break so easily and need more than one hit to be able to break.
