Creating Bond With My Beloved Friend AY

Good day Hivers. This is my first post here. Read some beautiful stories and I must say I am more than excited to contributing to making this group exciting and interesting.
I want to talk about the outing with my beloved friend AY.

One time I saw a picture of a guy on a horse on my status. Asked where he took those pictures. And he said it was at a life farm in Makurdi? For real? I have never heard of any life farm yeah. So I called my friend AY and told her about what I heard. She was fascinated by the idea and so we decided to go check it out. AY is very dear to me. We've been looking for somewhere to go create some really good memories. Like something we could look back and smile and discuss together. So when I got wind of this place I communicated it to her. She was more than happy to go with me. We were motivated by the need to spend quality time together, create memories and also educate ourselves.

So we set out to go to the farm. It wasn't really far from where we stay. It was a few kilo metres away. We boarded a tricycle and before we know it we were already there. Welcome by the board that reads "Wild Farm Makurdi."

At the gate we were met by people. We told them we had come to check out the farm. We were shown a tour guard who would be taking us on through the farm after we had paid for our tickets.
There were 2 sections of the farm. The first part that looks like a zoo and the other part where you can see field animals.
AY decided that we tour the cage part first. There were a lot of animals.

We also learnt a few things about the animals. Like lions playing and fighting because it will become a survival skills fro them later in the future.

AY has always liked birds. She always said she would like to get a parrot in the future. She made me take a picture with it. Lol

At the field farm. We saw horses and an ostrich. The big bird was really scary. We ran when we saw it and it pursued us. But the tour guide kept it away. She said we shouldnt have ran. That the reason it chased us was because we we ran. Wow.

There were horses too. Myself and AY rode on them. It was the first time I am riding a horse. I have seen movies where horse thrown down their riders. I asked the boy incharge why that happens and he said we should not kick the horse while riding. That the horse should be treated with love. I was touched. Good to know these people do not enable animal cruelty.

It was an amazing trip for us .A sweet one. You know I have never been to such a place so I really enjoyed the trip. A of of our friends preferred to go to eateries and the rest. But we really liked the idea. Away from life's distractions and rigours, it really helped us to bond. We took pictures. Mimicked the animals. Even went as far as comparing ourselves to the animals. Lol. It was so much fun. Unforgettably special.

We had hoped that we will come back and inform our other friends. We thought it would be amazing to have a large number of people going together at the same time. I hope we pull it through though. Would be telling us about that when it happens. I am sure it will be a wonderful trip for all of us.
