Behind the Veil | A Fractal and Generative Art Project

While creating several pure fractals in a fractal rendering program, Apophysis 2.09 in a recent drawing session, I stumbled upon this mysterious piece that resembled a series of bows. Duplicating the fractal created an amazing portal or maze of twisted turns and pathways. The bronze color turned out perfect for my intended use as a veil.

For my current project, several moving parts contributed to creating the ethereal scene. I love working with faces and pairing them with situations. I find their expressions change in different settings according to the objects surrounding them.

I created a female cloaked in a mysterious cavern. Her translucent shoulders looked as if she were half emerged in water. I nice effect.

The stable diffusion program I utilized was Night Cafe. With the stable diffusion programs, you input your text prompt. This allows you to describe the image you want the program to produce. Below are my steps:

Night Cafe Text input:
"elegant with beautiful face a masterpiece, 8k resolution, dark fantasy concept art, by Greg Rutkowski, dynamic lighting, hyperdetailed, intricately detailed, Splash screen art, trending on Artstation, deep color, Unreal Engine, volumetric lighting, Alphonse Mucha, Jordan Grimmer, purple and yellow complementary colours hyperdetailed charcoal drawing".

Weight: 1
Initial Resolution: Thumb
Runtime: Short
Seed: 1568696388
Overall Prompt Weight: 50%
Noise Weight: 50%
Sampling method: K_LMS
CLIP Guidance: NONE

Night Cafe Result:

I love the cloak that extends behind her head.

To complete my fractal art project, I included four others images I felt would make the project more interesting.

One of the images was completed in a generative art program, Nvidia Gaugan2; the other from Night Cafe, a stable diffusion program. I love how these images capture the intensity of the universe as though a flare has occurred. The other program captured a crow in flight.

Nvidia Gaugan2 Text input:
"The universe in chaos."

Nvidia Gaugan2 Result:

Night Cafe Text input:
"Ethereal Crow with large eyes and wings spread extra wide."

Night Cafe Result:

This is so creative and lovely. What do you use to create these fractales? Did I miss it? Or is it related to the 'Night Cafe ' you keep mentioning?

Hello. Thanks for your visit and kind words. So pleased you like my project. I've been creating fractals now for two years. In my posts, I try to mention all the programs I use to create the different types of art.

Fractals are created by fractal rendering programs. There are numerous software. Some are free, the majority are not. I use Apophysis software. I performed a Google search for fractal rendering programs. Since my computer power is low, I couldn't download the more powerful software such as JWildFire.

Take care.
