MOVING TO HIGHER DIMENSIONS

“In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged. Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” (Isaiah 6:1, 5-8)

Isaiah was a solid prophet already before his encounter in our text. He has prophesied in five chapters already before this time. But a time came for a new dimension of the call, he had to embark on a higher anointing, and so God gave him an encounter that shook him. He saw the Glory of God like never before, as a result of this a few things happened:

Isaiah’s uncleanness was revealed to him:

For the first time he saw he was a man of unclean lips. The glory of God will not only awe you, but will expose your unclean areas. When he acknowledged it, God used fire on his lips and cleansed it. You may not know how unclean certain areas of your life are until you push closer towards God’s glory.

After his lips were cleansed by fire, God then called him again. God said “whom will I send, who will go for us”? And then Isaiah responded to God’s call again; he said, “here I am send me”. From that time forward, Isaiah’s prophecies took a new turn. He began to prophecy about a virgin conceiving, he began to talk about Jesus and John the Baptist, way ahead of time.

I pray that God takes your calling and ministry to higher dimensions in Jesus Name.
