VICTORY

He that over-cometh the world is, he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God. This is the key word in Christianity. Victory means to overcome. It is to overcome the three arms of worldly lust, - “the lust of the flesh”, that of the eyes and “the pride of life” (1 John 2:16). Victory belongs to God and He gives it to His children through faith, lest any man should boast. (Ephesians 2:9). To confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and to believe in your heart that God raised Him up from the death, you are saved to victory. This is step one to salvation. The Bible says, “faith without work is dead”. What work? Work of confessing Jesus from door to door, evangelizing what you know about Him and inviting others to come and see as prescribed in Matthew 28:19-20.
