Building your faith
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith..(Romans 12:3)
Faith is the basis of every christian work, (2Corinthians 5:7) says that we walk not by sight but by faith, so as believers we are suppose to walk by faith and not by sight, what you see should not determine your move.
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
According to the scripture, it is impossible to please God without faith, meaning that, they can be no true christian living without faith, righteousness is a function of believe.
Every christian have the same measure of faith according to the scripture, the problem is that we have refused to take responsibility and grow our faith.
HOW TO GROW YOUR FAITH
- So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God..(Romans 10:17)*
One of the ways you can grow your faith is to pay attention to God word, when you pay attention to God's word, (that is reading your bible daily) the word will help you in building your faith.
According to the scripture, you can grow your faith effectively by staying continually with the word, the more you hear the word, the more your faith is built up,When you are consistent in God's word, you will grow your faith the more, when you lack God's word, you will lack faith in your life, and when you lack faith you will not be able to challenge the situations of life.
- The Bible says in (Hebrews 10:25) Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
According to that scripture, it is important to always be in church, when you are consistent in the fellowship with the your fellow believer's, you will be encourage and your faith will grow strong.
When you are in church, and you receive the word of God that is taught, then your spirit will be energises, and when your spirit is energises you will be able to express and exercise your faith.
You can also grow your faith by putting the faith you have into action, faith is what you use to get whatever thing you need from God.
When you study the word and also engage the word in your life, you grow your faith, and acting on the word is faith express.
The Bible says that faith without work is dead, so faith that is not express is dead, you must always backup your faith with action.
Stop wasting your money looking for who to help you in that situation of yours, instead of crying and complaining, why not engage your faith as a believer and get the required result, don't forget what Jesus said to the disciples, if you have faith as small as mustard seed,you will tell this mountain be thou remove, and it will obey you.
Learn to grow your faith as you have the same measure with others, and when you grow it always put it to action, I'm too sure that you will get the required result if you engage your faith.
