Salvation, God's love for man
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
The love of God is dispense to humanity by the death of His son, also the love of God is reveal in salvation.
The summary of the entire scripture is salvation, and salvation is in a person, and the person is Christ, so when you have Christ you have salvation which is the love of God.
The love of God cannot be qualified in material things, because man has the power over material things, but could not save himself, that is why God gave His only begotten son to dead for man sake. Now that is the love God.
It is the death of Christ that brings salvation to man, outside Christ death, man could not be saved.
The holy ghost is a person, and the person of the holy ghost is Christ, this is what is given or dispense to us.
John 3:16>>For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
To know the love God, you must first of all know the person of Jesus, God can never do anything outside Christ, all you ever need in life is package in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 3:20>>Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
The arrival of Jesus in you life is the arrival of power, there is something working in you as a believer.
The love God to humanity is revealed in salvation, and salvation is God's love dispense to humanity, the central focus of the scripture is salvation.
* Consequence of sin*
Romans 6:23>>>For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
According to that scripture, the consequence of sin is death, not apology (you don't plead for sin you die for sin). When you sin, you are separated from God because you are death in sin, ignorance make you a prey in the hand of the devil.
Sin is not an act, but sin is a nature, before you can conquer sin, the nature must be dealt with, and God dealt with sin in the nature of man by the sacrifice of His own son.
So when you believe in Jesus, not only your sin is forgiven, but your nature is change completely. The desire for sin die.
So the only way to come our of sin is to confess Jesus as your personal Lord and saviour. Not plead for sin, because sin problem doesn't required apology but death and Jesus actually die for your sin.
Romans 10:9>>That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
"Don't confess sin, rather confess Jesus."
