Christianity is Not a Religion but a lifestyle

Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

Many atimes people have mistaken christianity for a religion and that's why people still tag someone who womanize, drinks, idolize, fornicate, lie etc but go to church as a Christian. The name Christian was first mentioned in Antioch, not because the disciple kept gathering but because their lifestyle was aligned to that of Christ. Christianity is drawn From the name "Christ" and "like", this is what makes it a lifestyle than a religion. As Christian, we are expected to live as Christ in every way of life, in forgiveness, conduct, communication, love, purity And faith.

The day we profess Christ as our Lord and personal saviour and baptized, we are expected to die of self and embrace the man Christ now dwelling in us. We are no longer living for our pleasure but living for Him. On that day we are baptized, every of our past is forgotten and we are made a new person, we no longer live on societal standards but God's word which is a manual. No evil was found in Christ Jesus, Same also is ought to be the new us. If Christ lived in righteousness, then we also ought live in righteousness.

Any character outside of Christ is not Christianity but the flesh manifesting in a man. True Christianity is manifested in our lifestyle and not attending the church rituals. Be a true Christian by living the lifestyle of Christ.
