Associate Yourself With Wise and Positive Minded People

PROVERBS 13:20-22

He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repaid.
A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

We attract blessings just by being around the right people. The same way we attract blessing with the right person, the same way we attract curse with the wrong people we walk with.

An adage says, ‘Show me your friend and I will tell you who you are”

The kind of people we walk with define who we are and where we are heading. Who we associate with has a great influence on what we attract.

You can not become wise when we walk with fools only when we walk with wise people, we become wise. Always choose your partners and associate them carefully. Even most Christians we believe as Christians are not Christians. We need the help of the Holy Spirit to direct us on the kind of friends we need to associate with.

We should learn to be partners with genuine children of God, search for people who are good and have a genuine heart. Have friends who are friends indeed and not friends indeed. Those who have you at mind and want the best for you the same way you want the best for them.

PSALM 26:4-5

I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.
I have hated the congregation of evil-doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

Bad company corrupts good minds. If we plan on succeeding, we should associate or get in company with the good people and those who have a positive thinking.

God commands us to love our neighbor as ourselves and also advised us to be very careful with the kind of friends we associate with. Not everyone must be our friend. We must choose our friends wisely. Let us make sure we keep our associations pure
