SIT WITH CHRIST
MARK 3:13-15
Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him.
He appointed twelve[a] that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach
and to have authority to drive out demons.
Many people have refused to seat with Jesus and allow Him to impact them with knowledge.
When we seat in His presence, we will have the boldness to speak the truth even in the midst of multitudes. When we seat in His presence, we become great people in our generation.
ACTS 2:1-4
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.
Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit enabled them.
Anywhere Jesus asks you to seat down, sit and don't let anybody take you away from His presence because in that place, good things birth forth.
In the place of sitting down with Jesus, we get a voice who speaks to us to all in an understanding that we need to know how to live a life of holiness and uprightness.
The reasons Jesus appointed the twelve was so that they might be with Him and have an understanding of Him and His power. There is always a difference between those who sit with Jesus because when they go out, people get to see the evidence of in their lives.
Peter who was just a fisherman after sitting with Christ became a learned man who preached and converted people to Christ. Sitting to learn from God is the best thing that any man who is a believer will need becasue it gives you an edge over the adversity.
