Sustained and Led by the Spirit

Romans 8:26-30 KJV
[26] Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
[27] And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
[28] And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
[29] For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
[30] Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

I have listened to many people said that they are been inspired and influenced by various personalities or various things. Some people are even inspired by weed, alcohol and different drugs, some are guided or moved by some divine powers while some are possessed by evil spirit.

There are numbers of factors which impact on individual, these includes the readiness or ignorance giving result that are either positive or negative.

According to the text above (Romans 8:26-30), as Christians we have privileges that the Holy Spirit is there to make intersections for us according to the will of God for we know not how to pray. The Holy Spirit intercede for us in our heart while Jesus Christ intercede for us in heaven.

The Spirit teaches us what to pray for as an enlightening spirit, the Spirit silences our fears as a comforting Spirit, the spirit excites praying graces as a sanctifying Spirit, the Spirit also help us over our discouragements. Like Moses did in Exodus 14:15 and Hannah did in 1 Samuel 1:13, we can also pray in spirit without talking.

It is the faith and fervency of our prayers and not the eloquency or the rhetorics that the Spirit works on as an intercessor in us. The Spirit intercedes according to the will of God. Therefore, anything you desire that is not God’s will is not from the Spirit. The Spirit intersession is effectual.

As you move on from today, allow the Spirit of God to lead you always and you will get to the highest point of your goal. You will excel in every area of your endeavours if you are being lad and sustained by the Holy Spirit. Start allowing the Spirit of God to lead and guide you cos whoever not let by the Holy Spirit cannot be godly.

I pray the Lord will lead and guide our steps by His Spirit daily, in Jesus Name. Amen.
