"Safe sex is unrealistic without abstinence"
On the heels of our serial revelation on SEX, we are focused on the "LIES ABOUT PRE-MARITAL SEX". The gospel of abstinence has been preached to millions of single youths but with a handful of converts to show for it.
Many of them have questioned, "If abstinence is the right and smart choice, why are majority of us still having sex?" Well, my reply goes thus; Apart from the fact that sex feels good, many single youths have been beguiled the same way the serpent persuaded Eve to partake of the forbidden fruit in the garden of eden as recorded in Genesis 3.
We all know the story; Eve bought into a lie just like most single youths have brought into lies about sex. Let's examine one of the most popular ones:

Today, condom is seen as the messiah who has come to save the single youth from unwanted pregnancies and STDS.
This is a gross fallacy! HEAR THIS L: Multiple studies involving monogamous couples using condom during everyp single incident of intercourse for six to twelve months have shown that condom failure rate is at least 10% of the time, to prevent pregnancy.
If condom fails 10% of the time to stop pregnancy, how often do you think it will fail to prevent HIV and other infections which, unlike pregnancy, are possible any day and anytime?
Another revelation about the fallibility of condoms is that condoms are made up of rubber polymers. The particular size hole in rubber matter .5 microns and the HIV virus is only .1 microns (fifty times smaller than the size of holes in latex condoms).
Little wonder the WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION is concerned about the AIDS epidemic. They acknowledge that condoms simple cannot prevent the spread of the virus. Just to add to that: take into consideration the natural flaws of rubber which condoms are made from and reconcile that with the physical nature that sexual activity demands.
Of course you would agree that the rubber can be stretched or strained thereby allowing fluid to slip through. Wouldn't you rather refrain than regret? The choice remains yours!
