Dear brothers and sisters in Christ

Today the words of Jesus resonate more alive than ever, the Apostle Matthew in the verse (Matthew 22:37) answers a leading question from the Pharisees about the first commandment (Exodus 20) in which it is established that I must "Love God with all my heart, with all my soul and all my mind, "this being the highest and first commandment.

Like the Pharisees, each of us must ask ourselves if we are attentive to fulfilling this commandment, since the commitment to fulfill it is not only from the point of view of our religiosity or our external appearance before others, but this commandment implies that our heart, soul and mind must be in consonance with the Will of God for our life adoring and blessing the only Almighty God, our inner being must be transformed in the way that Jesus came to show us. Since all this is complemented by his words expressed in (Matthew 22:38-40).

38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
