Jesus became one with Satan in spiritual death to make you and I, one with God in spiritual life. Jesus had a body like Adam in his original state. It was a perfect human body, not mortal, nor immortal. It was a body that could not die until sin had taken possession of his spirit. In other words, Jesus had to die spiritually before He could die physically. He yielded up the ghost.

Meaning, He submitted to death willingly just because of you and I not because death was too powerful to kill him. At the cross, we saw men nailed to the cross with him. This means that the entire human race died with the crucified one Paul says, "if we died with Christ, we believe we shall also live with him.

This is to show that you died with Christ when he died. He was our substitute and you were one with him on the cross and his death. He died under your judgment, in your stead. He died because he was made sin for us. The moment you accept and recognise him there will be neither judgment or death for you again. Through the death of Jesus, you and I were made alive.

It was our sin that slew him but now it is his righteousness that gives us life. He drank the cup of death that you might drink the cup of life. Jesus destroyed the reign of death's when he resurrected. He became one with Satan in spiritual death to make you one with God in spiritual life. You died once with Christ and now you live to reign with him forever. All he is and did is yours! Glory!!

Believe that all that Jesus is and did is yours. for He drank the cup of death that you might drink the cup of life.
