Sin by Imputation

Romans 5:12; Wherefore, as by one man sin entered the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men for that all have sinned.

This is the sin that was conferred on us, mankind as a result of Adam and Eve taking the forbidden fruits. Their disobedience of God's command led to their been sacked from the garden of Eden and been cursed by the Lord. This sin went down from generation to generation and it only cancelled out by the death of our Lord Jesus Christ. Confession of Sins and proclaiming Christ as our Lord and Savior takes this sin off our backs and puts us under the grace of Christ.

Sin by Inclination

Genesis 5:6; And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Man has an inherit nature of sin in natural man. Our body has a tendency for things that goes against the spirit within us and these lust of the flesh makes our heart unclean and our minds full of evil deeds. This nature put us in the sinning category and it is in filling our minds, soul and heart with God's word that we are able to overcome this inherit nature.

Sin by Commission

2 Corinthians 5:10 But i say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

There are acts that we commit which makes us sin. This includes acts in our day to day activities such as petty insults, anger, hurting others, fornication etc. A lot of us are aware of these acts been a sin and so do much to stay away from it. One way to help you in the quest to do good and avoid sin would be to have the word in you and the spirit guiding your actions.

Sin by Omission

James 4;17 Therefore to him that knows to do good, and does it not, to him it is sin.

When we know what is right and fail to do it, the scripture makes us understand that we commit an act of sin, and so this is sin committed by not acting. For instance if we see one going astray that we know and refuses to correct or direct the individual to the right path, we sin.

Conclusion

Whiles it may not be so easy or we been perfect humans to not ever commit any act of sin, we should strive to be the very best we can be and to avoid sin as much as possible, for by our faith we are made righteous and the righteous do not sin. May the Lord help us to live a life worthy of emulation. Thanks for reading and have a great week.
