THE DIVINE IDENTITY
When we talk about divine it means something secrete, also identity is something used to know a particular person that is why as humans identity is very important in our lives. I want to talk about Jonah, first of all who was Jonah? Jonah was a child of God. And was choosing by God for his work.
Brethren did you know God sent Jonah to preach the gospel to the children of Nineveh, but Jonah had the mind to disobey God and decide to sail to another land. But you know our God is not what you use for play. Ones he said something so shall it be no one can change that, so he still had Jonah go to where he want him go that is how wonderful our God is he always keep to his words.
Let’s look at the book of Jonah 1:1-10
Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,
Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.
But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.
But the LORD sent out a great wind into the sea, and there was a mighty tempest in the sea, so that the ship was like to be broken.
That was how God solve Jonah’s stubbornness, if you continue reading you will see and understand better, so no matter who you are ones God has choosing you for something no man not even you can stop it from coming to pass. So therefore I want you to know that we are all God’s choosing people, don’t see yourself as nothing and if God should call you today for his work please don’t run away.
