ASTOUNDING WORK OF CREATIVITY WOULD-EMERGE ONLY FROM THE COCOON OF GOD-BREATHED IDEA.

Rightly, any man who would overwhelm the world has been described as man of God-breathed ideas. Any astounding work of creativity would-emerge only from the cocoon of God-breathed idea. A whole new world is created from a kernel of idea.

David Abioye wrote in Productive Thinking:

“Utilizing the Unlimited Resources of the Mind,”

‘When you are pregnant with good thoughts, the child that is born is an idea….. Thinkers make the world tick. Every working principle in politics, science and technology, education, business, etc, started an idea. Ideas are the trade secrets of the world today. They are the secret behind the success of many. A single idea can catapult a man from obscurity into the limelight overnight, but it takes thinking deep to get at it.’

• If ideas are indeed trade secrets then God has favored the Christian believer by giving prophecies that are veritable sources of conquering ideas!

While researching this blog, I read Gordon Lindsay’s 40 Signs of the Soon Coming of Christ. I was impressed by the number of inventions foreseen in the Scriptures long before their actual invention. The Automobile (Neh. 2:3,4); that Airplane (Related to Zec 14:16,17); the Radio and Television sign (Rev 11:9); the Atomic Bomb (Rev 13:3, Lk 21:26). But I got pondering over the matter of why it was not exclusively believers who invented these devices.

A lucid answer from Holy Spirit struck me: Every prophecy is a potential until somebody who discovers it prayed and worked it into existence at the appointed time. Every prophecy, by inference, can generate new creative ideas!

Do not spurn the gifts and utterances of the prophets-do not deprecate prophetic revelations nor despise inspired instructions or exhortation or warning.
1 Thessalonians 5:20 (Amplified)

Every prophecy is given for the benefit of the whole world and if anybody should discover the time of fulfillment and tap into it then he would unlock potential within the prophecy. Two prophecies loom in my mind as prophecies to run with, concerning the last days, and which pertain to creative potential.

When you consider the information technology revolution and the on-going explosion of knowledge, it is easy to see Daniel 12:4 being played out elaborately before our very eyes. The Scripture says,

”But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased” (Dan 12:4).

40 Signs of the Soon Coming of Christ concerning the verse of Scripture, Daniel 12:4, says, ‘It is common knowledge that during most of the history of the world, human knowledge has increased comparatively slowly. It was the invention of the printing press a few centuries ago that made the wide dissemination of knowledge possible.

It is only during the last century however, as a result of technological advances, that most of the inventions that we enjoy today have been perfected. Our grandfathers, when boys, traveled about carriages in much the same fashion as Pharaoh did 3,500 years ago. A man in his eighties today can remember when there was no automobile, no telephone, no electric light, no phonograph, no radio, and no television. At that time the industrial revolution had just begun.’

The remarkable thing is that the man of God wrote these lines at least three decades before the sequencing and decoding of the human DNA! Oh, yes certainly, knowledge has burgeoned a million folds.

• AND MORE INCREASE IS ON THE WAY!

The second prophecy is even more exciting, because it directly would be the prelude to the full-scale emergence of the Kingdom of God.

For (even the whole) creation (all nature) waits expectantly [and] longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship]…Romans 8:19 (Amplified)

• DO YOU SENSE HOW MOMENTOUS THIS PROPHECY IS?

Right now, the marketplace of ideas thirsts for a deluge of Godly ideas. Child of God, do not be afraid to let your creative ideas soar whether it would take one person or a million people to achieve! Myles Munroe once said the richest place on earth is not any bank, gold reserve forts, stock markets, but rather the graveyard. Because of wasted wealth of potential that dead men and women failed in life to explore and exploit. The same thing can be said of ideas.
