RIGHTEOUSNESS; YOUR RIGHT TO GO UP.

God in His mercies has so designed that the basic things of life are not things we struggle and fight to have. You may be in lack of so many things that seem so legitimate; but, the truth remains that the basic things you need to get you going in life are all around you. If the air we breathe was a commodity to be purchased, can you imagine what would have become of mankind? Sunlight is required by plants to make available food for man, can you imagine what would have happened, if sunlight was like electrical energy was under a particular government agency to apportion and administer?

These are things that we cannot do without and God has put them in abundant supply, such that you don’t need any form of consultation to enjoy them. These things are freely given and they simply get you going.

This same assertion which is true for your physical wellbeing is also true for your spiritual wellbeing. The right you have to go up is not in the hands of any minister or church group to administer. It is embedded in what Christ has become unto us: “But of Him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom and righteousness, and sanctification and redemption”1 Corinthians 1:30.

Thank God for the righteousness that Jesus has been made to become unto us; it is the right you have of God to go up, to advance and to be all that God has made you to be. It is what gets credited to your “account”, the moment you become born again: “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and not yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast”. It is freely given, the given, the moment you enlist as God’s own.

The book of Romans 5:7 emphasizes the gift nature of the right standing we have in God, which enables us to reign in life. With men and women all over the place making merchandize of the grace of God upon their lives; can you imagine what would have happened if righteousness was put in the hands of men or church groups to disperse? Thank God it’s freely given to get you going and no matter what the enemy brings your way; by the force of righteousness, you are more than a conqueror.
