FIRE - AN IMAGERY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Isaiah 4:4
KJV:When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
The Holy spirit has so much features and one of it is FIRE. Like we all know, the fire consumes, devour and engulf things that ought to be consumed as such, when we allow the spirit onto our love, we expect him to burn all our impurities and penetrate any form of moral degradation, sinful desire and unclean imagination.
The fire softens our entire being. It breaks is and bring us under the leading of the Holy spirit. When the Holy spirit is evident in your life, it burns from your inside and melt you complete so he can form his image on you.
Again, the fire get things moving and aspires. The ancient philosophical great men described fire as an element of the Heavens.
Would you let the Holy spirit into your heart
