Lord give me YOU

There is a song that goes thus;

Give me YOU Lord
Everything else can wait
Give me You
Lord give me You

We have always seek for God's presence and his face. We desire that his countenance will shine upon us and his glory will be made known among men.

But then, how many of us can genuinely say "Lord give me YOU"?
How many of us can boldly say "everything else can wait" Lord i need you?
We yearn every day for his presence, seeking miracles and asking from him. Yet do we even know him? do we have him as our Savior?
Have we actually seen God to be the anchor of our lives?
If No, then do we truthfully ask him to give us HIMSELF?
Have we boldly drawn to his throne of grace and seek his face? letting go of every other thing?

The scripture says "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you"
The bible wasn't misplacing words when that was written.
We are to seek God's kingdom first before we even expect anything that comes from there.

For example, if you own a house and then along the line you lose or misplace your house key, will you be able to enter the house? let alone access anything in that house?
This is so with God, without seeking his kingdom first to become certified and recognized by God, the you will have no access to anything that comes from his kingdom.

If only you seek him first and his righteousness then every other things shall be added unto you.
If only you could proclaim those words from the song artist "Lord give me You, everything else can wait" then certainly the Lord Almighty will settle your bills.

All He needs from you is for you to draw near to him, seek him with your whole heart and you will have access to all you need and can ever ask for.

Prayer

• May the grace and mercy of God remain ever sufficient unto us in Jesus name Amen

• May we truly and boldly seek him, his face and his kingdom so we can get everything we ask of him in Jesus name Amen
