Octo-Selfie

This is a playground climbing apparatus near my house that I thought would look cool in a camera rotation. I climbed the apparatus, placed the camera looking up and had a remotely triggered flash on the ground. I still had to climb down to rotate the camera 8 times. First I did four rotations with red gel and then four with blue to avoid changing gels on every rotation. My faces in the middle are rather dark but I liked how the cords in this apparatus resembled light streaks so common in light painting.

And here is another apparatus but without me in it and slightly different colors.

I would have loved to see you doing this one. Great results too.

Cheers pal. It was the perfect excuse to play like a kid but still have a reasonably grown up explanation for doing so. Passers by would still probably think I had a screw loose. 😂

Cool, one of those occasions where an assistant might have been useful...nothing wrong with a loose screw!!!

It would be simpler with assistance for sure. Some things can't be done without assistance. Socializing for example lol.. Maybe one day I'll have the patience to program an Arduino extension to my rotation tool that rotates at preset angles... now that would be a camera gimp.
