Adrien Fouramux in hunt for new co-driver ahead of WRC Rally Finland 2021

Hi, friends!

They say that there is no friendship at the top of any sport but I doubt that. If you do your job professionally and with passion, it's hard to replace you if the crew is right. Look at the seven times World Rally Champions Seb Ogier and Julien Ingrassia. They are in the car for probably 15 years together and there is no problem of what so ever.

I guess that Fourmaux peaked his maximum level with two 5th places and he couldn't do better then this so there has to be some changes and the easiest is to change the co-driver.

OK, if co-driver doesn't want to continue with competing or he doesn't have the motivation for progress, then I understand. But Fourmaux's co-driver Renaul Jamoul co-drove for him from 2019 and from what I saw with my eyes on the tests ahead of WRC Croatia Rally this season, that guy is really motivated.

Maybe M-Sport Ford team wants to bring the changes before the new hybrid season 2022 and they could bring someone with more experience to help Fourmaux to build his speed even more.

Maybe that big crash at WRC Ypres Rally in Belgium made them to think what could be better for Fourmaux and they decided to split.

O noticed before that Fourmaux is very oriented on his own career and that he will do anything to improve it so he is not that unhappy, I guess. There is no such thing as a hard feelings in the sport and business, they say and now the only thing they need is to find a good and experienced co-driver who will help Fourmaux to score podium positions because M-Sport Ford needs that in the new hybrid era more then anything else.

Daniel Elena speaks French and he could be a perfect solutions if he is available. We will see how this will cope with the young Adrien Fourmuux but now it is pretty sure that he will drive that hybrid Ford Puma Rally1 car in 2022...
